Bug Report Re: Twitch iOS App v16.9
A bug is frequently encountered after latest update; when, opening emotes in chat window and rotating screen from portrait to landscape etc.
Bug causes app to freeze stream momentarily and almost crash, as app struggles to cache stream and rescale size of windows of stream and chat at same time, and both windows will also overlap, if screen is rotated back to upright position.

New update brings more bugs The latest update on the iPhone has left the app unusable. Slow stream and bad quality. Can’t access chat function after watching in landscape mode. Can’t switch streams without closing out of the app completely.

Twitch is broken After the last update on IOS if i want to type a message it doesn’t open the keypad and Twitch remains still, the image is blocked

pip mode i want to watch PIP mode stream without pause. it pauses sometimes even there was no mobile data disconnection and i have to play it manually whenever it happened. let me watch pip mode twitch stream without pause.. please fix this problem thank you

Currently unable to comment When watching on IOS mobile, I am currently unable to comment when switching from full screen to chat mode. It has been this way for 3 days and I’ve seen numerous others notate this same issue. I want to bring as much attention to this as possible as it is basically unusable atm.

Unwatchable iOS app leaves streams unwatchable. Streams stutter and skip, or randomly just pause stream every 5 to 15 minutes. This happens both on Wi-Fi and mobile data, it makes using the app infuriating

No way to access streamers profile while they are streaming If a streamer has at least one twitch story up, there is no way to access their profile (about, clips etc) while they are streaming

Fix iOS app from crashing/freezing Twitch iOS app (14.6) still has previous bug(s) that cause app to completely freeze with no response after stream crashes while exiting PIP mode; thus, needing app to always be rebooted.
To encounter bug:
Do quick search (Lookup) of highlighted word in chat window and select an option from list to open link to Safari.
Twitch App will open PIP window to continue viewing stream with Safari window open.
Stream being viewed in PIP window will instantly crash and completely freeze app; once you expand PIP window to return stream back to normal in Twitch app.

Stop the stream freezing every time I go to type in chat Every time I click on the chat box to type in chat the stream freezes and goes silent. It takes 30s to a minute for the stream to recover and refresh back. It’s highly frustrating as I am normally an active chatter. But now I am holding back from interacting as I don’t want to miss out on what is happening.

BUG REPORT!!! Every time I go to a streamers chat, or even look in the search bar for another channel, after about two minutes of running the mobile app, the app will freeze and then crash. Even when I close the app out of my background, and completely restart it, still the same thing. Please fix.!!

Stream Randomly Crashes App Re: Twitch iOS App v17.0
I have encountered app completely crashing back to iOS Home Screen multiple times and app needing to be reloaded to continue watching stream after most recent update.
I have also had to previously report via stream that entire screen (not just video) will suddenly freeze while still hearing audio from stream, and when exiting app; audio for stream will continue to play outside of app for how ever long stream was previously buffered by app.
Note: Issue has occurred using an iPhone 8 Plus 256GB (iOS 16.7.2) and not due to low battery power, as…

Give option to disable chat overlay An option to disable the chat overlay on mobile is necessary. While some might like the ability to overlay chat on mobile, not giving an option to disable it is lazy at best and experience ruining at worst. For those that like it the options to move it where desired is great, but not giving any option to disable it leaves everyone else stuck with a feature we didn’t want or ask for.

Remove/hide chat overlay Remove or add an option to hide the chat overlay in landscape mode. I can't even see the map on LoL streams (bottom right of the screen) which is awful UX.
Also remove the notification popping when you double tap the screen to show/hide chat. I know what I did and don't need a notification to inform me.3 votes -
Mobile App Please improve the interface of the mobile app. Every time I rotate my phone into theater mode, the app becomes inoperable. It gets really annoying to have to force close the app every time I do this.

Can’t chat via stream manager My stream manager thinks I’m trying to cheer in my own channel and won’t allow me to send messages. I’ve gone as far as re installing the app. No luck.

Play stream without stopping music app audio I would love an option for a stream to play but not take over the iOS media audio stream. For example, in the Discord and Reddit apps, if a video is played, its audio will play at the same time as whatever is playing through iOS's background audio!
This way we can watch streams and still listen to our own music

Block tags Allow the option to block all content from specified tag,
I don’t want things I wholeheartedly dislike to show up when I search for unrelated things.

Overlay button ( On - Off ) Please add a button for the overlay on screen ( On - Off ) Button .. the overlay is so annoying on phone it must be optional not a must for the users, Like for me personally I prefer watching on full screen without any distractions, I can’t enjoy the streams anymore on phone from the overlay on screen ( Chat, Bits, etc. )

Advertisment timing/too many ads Usually whenever i pressed on some streamers, the advertisment always coming out on the best part/or interested part in the stream. The following solution for it is: either make it shorter like 10 or less. Or just rotate it whenever the stream ends his/her stream. I always missed the interesting parts due the too many ads to be honest and even longer ads which is really annoying. Please look at the advertisments durations and the time it showed up. Thank you for listening!
