Proposed fix: Set the background-color: black on the html element in the iframe. Possibly only in a darkmode if such exists.

Why is this the correct fix ? I think the cause is weird sub pixel roundings (in this case Firefox). We have seen it previously on Chrome also and seems to also be hardware dependent. I doubt this will ever be fixed from browser vendors while setting it black will mask the issue for good.

  2. Allow us to embed the clip editor.

I have a personal site that I used to list and view all of my clips that I make during a stream. I also have functions for tagging my clips for easier searching, and other implementations.

Currently, I have to link to the edit page, to edit the clip to the desired length and position. Then, go back to my site to embed the clip player, where I have my extra functionality. My desired work flow would be to just embed the edit page, so that I could use my page's tagging functions…

  5. It would be great, if the add/update events for Custom Rewards and Custom Reward Redemptions would have a flag, if the Custom Reward was created by the client_id which subscribed the topic.

  7. I have a system that checks what scene the creator is in, to see if that custom reward is allowed (we do scene whitelisting). A planned feature is to disable and enable custom rewards based on the scene, so that the end users (the viewers) only ever see custom rewards that will actually work.

It would be very helpful if I could batch my update calls so that I could set several rewards as disabled/enabled at once. Without this ability its very likely I'd hit a rate limit.

  8. why does the documentation not specify how the extension is including the common.js script? How is common.js capable of knowing DOM-elements that are in panel.html?

  9. Currently if you try to use a bits enabled extension on your channel, you get an error message that reads "Sorry, something went wrong. Please try again."

This error message makes it seem as though this action should work and that "something actually went wrong". When in actuality, they are trying to perform an action that is not allowed, that will never work no matter how many times they try again.

My proposal is to provide the user with a more meaningful error that informs them that they can't do this action because they aren't allowed to spend bits on…

  10. As title states, popped out extensions should provide the same context information as normal panel extensions (for example the HLS latency).

  11. -Often is the Camera size to big and we can´t see the Game good.
I find New Option to disable the Camera by Spectator was Nice.
-And the same by Overlay many People will see the Game not the Face of the Streamer or the Overlay.
-Somethimes the Streamer talk to mutch or have Teamspeak on with other players and bad Voice or so .
I think the option Game sound Only was good when you will see the game.

I find the First place is the Game not the Streamer profile .

  13. When creating a custom reward it would be nice if we can set a description. Not all rewards can be easily described by the name.

  14. Make the "report video" button load simultaneously with the rest of the "settings" drop down menu on embedded videos, so that the menu's button positioning doesn't change 1 second after loading.

  15. The curl examples have done the same thing as the most recent batch of API endpoints that were added to helix and used, long form headers which is inconsistent with the rest of the API documentation

curl --location --request GET 'https://api.twitch.tv/helix/channel_points/custom_rewards?broadcaster_id=274637212&id=92af127c-7326-4483-a52b-b0da0be61c01' \
    --header 'client-id: gx2pv4208cff0ig9ou7nk3riccffxt' \
    --header 'Authorization: Bearer vjxv3i0l4zxru966wsnwji51tmpkj2'

    compared to

    curl -H 'Client-ID: uo6dggojyb8d6soh92zknwmi5ej1q2' \
    -H 'Authorization: Bearer cfabdegwdoklmawdzdo98xt2fo512y' \
    -X GET 'https://api.twitch.tv/helix/analytics/extensions?type=overview_v1&extension_id=abcdefgh&started_at=2018-03-01T00:00:00Z&ended_at=2018-05-01T00:00:00Z'

A more of a general issue as docs should be consistent with the examples across the board

  16. If the request (Get Videos) is authenticated by a user, return a response field video_bookmark which returns, in seconds, where the user left off in watching the video. Or it could be requested at a different endpoint by video ID or something.

  17. In the streams endpoint, there's no property in the response that indicates if the stream can only be watched on Twitch. This means we embed streams that can't be watched and we obviously don't want this.

The streams api needs to return this information so we know not to render these embeds.

  19. Some developers may need to cycle their Extension's whitelist with a big number of accounts. There's already an option to mass add users to a whitelist. So it's only natural to complement it with a mass delete.

  20. Adding the /monitor command would be a great addition, I mod for a channel that has a group of user doxing the streamer with their username/display name and banning everyone having their name matching the vague doxing param is not a possibility
