Extended moderation/banned to allow optional param`moderator_id` Extend the banned API to allow filtering on the API by the moderator whom performed an action.
Third party tools may need to check the actions that a given moderator did, or ask the moderator to reconcile their bans/actions post stream with additional resoaning/comments in an external tool

Helix Create Poll endpoint doesn't actually allow additional votes for polls. The Create Poll endpoint has optional query parameters to allow additional votes using either bits or channel points.
However, it doesn't actually allow multiple votes. This can be seen in the pubsub response which explictly states that "multi_choice" (property indicating whether additional votes are allowed) is not enabled.
When creating a poll through the web interface, it works just fine as it is created through the GQL and not the API. The GQL message also has an additional property to explicitly allow additional votes, on top of the properties that are used to either allow additional votes by bits and/or…

Allow Clients to update all Custom Rewards and Redemptions, not just the ones they create Right now there is a limitation of the Custom Rewards API that makes it so a client can only update the custom rewards (and their redemptions) that it has created. However, with EventSub we can receive notification of any Custom Reward, regardless of whether the client created it or not. This means you can write a client to take some action upon Custom Reward Redemption, link it up to a preexisting Custom Reward, and it will take action. But the Client will never be able to programmatically mark the Redemption as FULFILLED, because the client didn't create the Custom Reward…

Extension panels in the Stream Manager I want to be able to make a custom panel that a creator can put in their Stream Manager.
It already looks pretty extensible with how you can move stuff around and pop things out.5 votes -

api call to reset stream key I see you have it in your v5 API https://dev.twitch.tv/docs/v5/reference/channels#reset-channel-stream-key
But it seems like there's no way to do this in the current API? This would allow someone to create an automated channel for a community, like the Randomania channel, or the ZeldaSpeedruns channel

Filter EventSubs by Condition / Type While migrating to EventSub with 2.2 million webhooks, I noticed one thing that makes debugging with many webhooks especially difficult.
Problem:
EventSub subscriptions cannot be listed by a condition or type. This makes it impossible to find unwanted duplicates and its ID on the part of Twitch.
Solution:
By filtering by condition and/or type, you can find EventSub subscriptions and their IDs faster and more efficiently.
In addition, we would theoretically not need a database that knows all IDs to manage event subscriptions.

Add an Get EventSub Subscriptions filter of "not_enabled" So instead of doing 5 looksups for each kind of not "enabled" filter.
Add a filter option of
not_enabledto return all subscriptions that died for any reason.5 votes -

Add emotes field to channel.cheer Via IRC we can get emotes in message shared with cheer for clean the message for use via TTS or showing message with image for replace emote.
I think you have to add this field in this event because we already have message shared but can't parse it.

Publish Official Typescript Typing's for all Data Models It would be very easy to build and design for if there were official typing for all data endpoints. The data between all the different API's for the same data isn't consistent, and with event sub, since it no longer relies on the underlying Helix endpoint, that data can now be different too. This will also mitigate typos on the docs which causes huge headaches when trying to code for API responses and the data not working, or missing fields. The typing can specify which fields are required and which are optional, so when designing your app, you can easily…

Add categories to the Channel Points list on a channel Add the functionality to sort Channel Points redemptions into categories (and ofc make this settabel via the API).
It gets confusing and hard to find the redemption you're looking for with the current (amount of points based) sorting when you have one or more applications with multiple redemptions each and maybe then even some random single ones as well.

Status CANCELLED should remove the cooldown on custom rewards I believe that updating the redemption to have a status of CANCELLED should remove any active cooldowns on the custom reward
I understand that it needs to go into the cooldown state immediately so that other users cannot redeem it again, however setting the status to CANCELLED is our way of signalling that the event did not complete. It's how the streamer says "sorry I can't do that, have your points back".
It makes little sense for the redemption to stay in cooldown when the custom reward has failed to be completed.

Extend Subscription Webhooks/API to return information about multi month purchase The webhook/response for subscriptions returns a payload as
(webhook example)
{
"data": [
{
"eventdata": {
"broadcasterid": "casterID",
"broadcastername": "aCaster",
"gifterid": "",
"giftername": "",
"isgift": false,
"planname": "Some Subscription ($4.99)",
"tier": "1000",
"userid": "someID",
"username": "someName"
},
"eventtimestamp": "2020-10-16T17:33:46Z",
"event_type": "subscriptions.subscribe",
"id": "1iyAnn4NpVMZ9jYv0HDOQP4SfpS",
"version": "1.0"
}
]
}But it doesn't include information about if it was a 1/3/6/12 whatever subscription or not.
Please extend the payload (for both webhooks and the API) to contain this information about if it's a multimonth purchase

Follow the new embed requirements during a raid redirect. It's as the title suggests.
When I embed a chat and include the parent parameter then that streamer initiates a raid, the chat embed redirects to a standard popout link for the target channel and not the embed link with the same parent as was set. I believe that when we set the parameters they should stay during this process.
eg: twitch.tv/popout/channel/chat when it should be twitch.tv/embed/channel/chat?parent=...5 votes -

Subscribe to category with wehbooks Currently you can subscribe to a webhook to receive a handful of types of events. The only way to see when a stream goes live is to subscribe to a topic for that particular user. It would be incredibly useful to specify a category and receive a webhook whenever a stream goes live in that category.

An extension should be allowed to play a clip or highlight/other non live Twitch short Content For extensions that center around Clips it would be nice to be able to play that clip in the extension rather than having the viewer leave the extension/Twitch streamer to go and view said clip.

Clips API should let Broadcasters see info of deleted Clips The Get Clips API should include information of all deleted clips matching the current clips request too when used with a proposed deleted=true parameter. Limited to only the broadcaster themselves and maybe behind some appropriate scope too.
Goal: detecting malicious, weird and creepy clipping behavior from people making clips, downloading them, and instantly deleting them which is a very common pattern that's currently almost impossible to detect for streamers.
Sometimes streamers will accidentally show something they didn't mean to for a second, or say something that can be taken out of context, and some people are just weird and clip…
