Embed player ads
I'm wondering why Twitch play placeholder ads on embed player instead of the usual ads on Twitch platform. There are more ads played on embed player and even then it's just a placeholder so I don't understand what is the point of showing the ads.

We have set an expectation for advertisers, creators, and viewers that ad content is only displayed on Twitch properties (desktop, mobile, etc). This could change in the future, but for now the video spots are shown to indicate when a pre-roll or mid-roll is played on a channel.
