Allow an option to block streamers channels
So they don't show up when you are looking under games for streams to watch.
It would be great if you ignored a user, their channel didn't show up when you were looking for streams to watch

LET US BLOCK CHANNELS
Not only channels. Want same function to games categories
I too would like the option of filtering cancer that twitch attempts to foist on me like Ninja or Amouranth.
How can they rely on their own metrics if they keep messing with them like this?
"wow, look at all the people watching this, this must be popular" No, it's cause you shove it in our face, morons.
Yeah this is incredibly fucking annoying. After 2 months of some dicksuck being at the top of my recommended and me not following, you'd think twitch would get the hint that I do not like them.
I should be able to remove streamers from recommended list, especially ones that I dont want to watch or i have unfollowed. This seems like such an obvious feature to have yet its not here.
YES. I will ALWAYS up this suggestion. It has been asked for A TON over the years and YET, still no implemented.
Allow us to block/hide people we don't want to EVER see.
Is it REALLY that hard Twitch?
https://twitch.uservoice.com/forums/297558-general/suggestions/34821676-ban-amouranth please to ban amouranth
I TOO HATE THIS person named amouranth. TWITCH. LET ME BAN HER FROM MY EYES
Like they have on Youtube. There's alot of games that i'm interested in, but alot of the big streamers who are on top of every new game, are super negative, constantly. I'd love to be able to click "not interested in this channel" or just block the channel, so i never have to see them in my feed again.
lol googling this also because of that damn Amouranth recommendation
Also here to avoid Amouranth. Crazy how many comments there are here about it and yet still can't get rid of her.
I go to Pornhub when I need to fap. I come to Twitch when I want to watch games.
It sickens me that I have to see this Amouranth streamer on my front page. She is obviously desperate for attention and letting her get away with doing sexual content is all good, but WHY AM I FORCED TO SEE HER EVERYDAY??? I am avoiding twitch just so I don't have to see that crap. I need a button to ignore all the crap this twitch company wants to push on me to watch. I am a female, I don't want to see some girl putting her lips so close to the cam and all she is doing is blowing in the mic, while her bobs are popping out of her shirt! That is very much intentionally done to attract men by doing sexual content. I find it extremely disturbing that twitch allows this to happen. I am thinking of not subbing to anyone any more and stay the F away from twitch, it's getting way to ronchy for me .
I can't stand getting all these suggested losers! Let me block channels (ffs!), or turn off recommended!

I know Twitch loves Ninja and Amouranth, and pimp them everywhere, all the time.. I stopped by their channels, realized they are utterly non-entertaining, and don't want to see them anywhere. TBH, mega-streamers are getting in the way of discovering NEW and GOOD streamers.
I also came here trying to find a way to never see Amouranth again. Make filtering happen or lose me as a customer.
Haha let me block THOTS!
Imagine that, I search for how to get rid of someone on my suggested streams list and find a bunch of other people trying to remove the same user from their front pages. I thought this was a place to watch gamers play games, but this Amouranth streamer (who doesn't seem to play games except for DDR) is all over my front page and is first in my recommended channels. I would like to block that stream from showing up for me.
Twitch seems to have zero integrity about the content that can appear to the public on the front page of its website. I see this streamer Amouranth who looks like someone who belongs on an adult webcam website, yet here they are on Twitch with half their body uncovered for everyone to see without consent. If I could block this person then that would be fine, but I cannot find any way to do this. People can apparently do what ever they want on camera and show it on your site without even having to navigate to their actual broadcaster page. Implementing a way to block certain people seems like a no-brainier, I sincerely hope this is done soon.
From a business standpoint it does not make any sense that this is not a feature yet. If i don't like a streamer I will not view their stream or subscribe, yet they will still show up over and over. You are preventing your consumer from seeing new streams they've never seen before and losing the chance to have the consumer subscribe (how you make money). It is basically like wasting ad space by showing me a product that i don't want, when you could easily let me block/hide it and try to show me something i may spend money on.
Armature hour over here.
