haha would be great those channel dont appear more when you block them. Even blocking a channel is anti-intuitive.

Blocking someone as a user, is not the same as blocking a channel. As it stands, only viewers can block. This isn’t equal. Allow users to block channels. This feature is needed, because the recommendation feedback tool isn’t listened too. Those channels can still be recommended. Further, if I’m lurking, I can get pulled into a raid. But there are some creators I never want to support. Because sometimes, one can go down the rabbit hole of a few raids and end up in a stream that says the n word.

If someone is blocked by a channel, only the chat is locked. That user still gets notifications and recommendations for a channel they’re not welcome in. That isn’t a good UX. When blocked, the user should get a notification, and have that channel unfollowed, and hidden. The current system leads to creators receiving harassment on other platforms.

i do not like specific streamers. i want an option to block someone i do not want to watch... i do not even want to see it as featured or recommended. please just ad that button do us all a favor

Why would it NOT be an option to block a streamer of my choice? Stop forcing me to watch people I could care less about. Hence the reason why I follow the ones I do like. Seeing the constant recommendations for streamers that irritate me just makes me not want to log into Twitch at all. Maybe I should go watch streams on Mixer instead, as they have this option. Maybe Ninja did a good job in moving.

Adding my name to the please add a block button or mute channel - twitch clearly favors some channels that are SUPER inappropriate and I don’t want to get it shoved in my face every single damn day in my recommended section. I clearly don’t watch those kind of streams so why are those all I get suggested? I want to ignore those channels and stop seeing them. PLEASE

i was able to block her by reporting her channel. just said she gives out her ***** snapchat for subs then the block option was at the end.

Same here, I am tired of looking at Cam Girl (aka Amouranth) at the top of my Twitch Feed, it's annoying, inappropriate, and even though it probably makes you Twitch a ton of money, not everybody enjoys it

Googled how to block certain streamers from showing up and this was the first result. It seems I'm not the only one who is tired of Amouranth on their feeds. A simple option to "ignore" would be great. The "i'm not interested in this recommendation" worked for a while but her content is still popping up.
