A category for relaxed, real-time interactions between creators and their communities. “Sesh” is centered on casual conversation, shared experiences, and live engagement through anything from music, discussion, creative expression, or simply spending time together. Content in this category emphasizes authenticity, connection, and a laid-back atmosphere.

The “Sesh” category fills a gap between highly structured content and fully unstructured streaming by giving creators a clearly defined space for casual, community-driven experiences. While categories like Just Chatting exist, “Sesh” introduces a more intentional cultural framing around relaxed, shared moments and community presence.

This category would:

-Provide improved discoverability for creators focused on vibe driven, low-pressure streams

-Encourage deeper community engagement through informal, real-time interaction

-Support a growing segment of creators whose content blends music, conversation, and live experiences without fitting neatly into existing categories

-Offer clearer expectations for viewers seeking authentic, laid-back content without having to search through tags.

By formalizing this style of content into its own category, Twitch can better organize creator ecosystems, reduce over-saturation in broader categories, and enhance the overall viewer experience through more precise content discovery.
