We are past the time where there should be some way to organize our followed and subscribed channels list. Twitch has grown like crazy over the past 4+ years and there are TONS of channels to follow and watch, and I really want to support smaller streamers more. But the way the current 'directory/following/live' page is organized incentivizes following LESS people, and ONLY watching the TOP streamers since they are listed first, and finding other streamers to watch requires sifting through and looking at thumbnails, checking titles, and as CEO Dan Clancy put it, pogo-sticking into streams and out to see what they are up to.

I would like to formally request Twitch expedites implementing a feature that allows users to add channels they follow/subscribe to custom folders that may be expanded or not (accordion style), to make it easier to find channels they want to check first, or to watch a channel that relates to what they are in the mood to watch, and to hide channels they are not in the mood to watch.

The built in categories will not be sufficient either, 'Just Chatting' is not enough, the sort mechanism should be customizable. There are often groups of streamers that stream together, it would be nice to have a folder where I could easily jump between those streams. Or if I am sitting down to eat, checking a cooking/baking streamer folder. And although I support them, it would be nice to not have to sift through variety streamers doing hot tub streams while I am in the line at the grocery store.

This function could also be implemented to the same effect with a #TAGS system to add a list of personal tags to a channel and listing the tags atop the following/live page to click.

PLEASE Twitch! PROMOTE following MORE channels in this way, and SUPPORT smaller streamers in the process!
