Disallow Sleeping Streams on Front Page Carousel
Within the Twitch Front Page Carousel Rotation, I've noticed a couple of instances where creators have been featured within the "I'm Only Sleeping" category without actively being present and entertaining an audience. While I recognize that there is a substantial viewership out there for channels where creators are sleeping, this doesn't seem like a good use of Front Page slots when you have so many creators charity streaming, hosting events, and simply creating amazing active content every day. It can feel a bit devaluing when a creator doing just about nothing is getting featured over creators that are actually doing something. I'd really love to see Twitch address this as part of their considerations for future Front Page Carousel promotions.

Agreed - looked at my front page this morning and noticed someone who's going to be sleeping for 8 hours. Is that really more beneficial for twitch than someone who's actively making content that can attract new audiences?

Agreed. The absolute breadth and variety of content produced on Twitch is astonishing and to have a non-interactive sleeping stream on the front page feels lazy. On multiple fronts.

I agree. Guidelines state you have to interact with your chat.. you can’t do that while sleeping. 🤷🏻♀️

While the category itself existing is another conversation, I think that having someone just sleeping be someone’s first exposure to Twitch isn’t putting our best foot forward.

Imagine never hearing about Twitch and your first impression is seeing someone sleeping as a main feature. It looks a little strange and makes a weak impact. Let's feature creators with innovative ideas and shows!
