"Mini Painting" or "Miniatures" Should be a Category
"Mini Painting" is a distinct and vibrant community on Twitch, but it does not have a logical 'Category' home on twitch. This community is currently divided amongst a handful of existing categories which are each misleading or overly general.
"Mini Painting" streams are easily recognized by an overhead shot of hands painting miniatures for RPGs, Board Games, Tabletop Wargames, or for display. These streams often have a secondary face-cam, and possibly even a third camera for a paint palette. They are a distinct type of content. Typically there are close to 1000 concurrent viewers watching content creators from the Mini Painting community.
The easiest way for Twitch to support this branch of content is to give it an appropriate name. "Mini Painting" is my suggestion, but "Miniatures Painting" or "Miniatures" also give the correct idea.
This community is currently split between existing categories such as "warhammer," "art," "makers and crafting," and "just chatting." This hurts discoverability for mini painters. They are all overly broad, and they are often misleading.
Please, Please, PLEASE add "Mini Painting" as a category. :-)

This is necessary to allow others to find miniature painters.

"Miniatures" so we can encapsulate building, sculpting, and painting all types of miniatures. And while i like Warhammer, It can also help people see minis aren't JUST warhammer ones. It can also unify or give a category for people who create non gaming miniature art like tiny houses and scenes. I like this idea and support it!

Miniatures for sure! Seeing friend’s contribute to the Twitch platform and having to use the biggest corporate game to communicate what their contribution is humiliating and a disservice to them and Warhammer.

I like "Miniatures" to cover both painting and sculpting. Maybe "miniature wargaming" if sub-categories are also possible, to also tag battle-reports and the like.

Miniature sculptures would be included just under "miniatures" umbrella since we can also add 3d tags in with it. Either way there definitely needs to be a category for mini painters!

And PLEASE make certain sculpting is included within the category?

This would greatly help our community and help with discoverability. Giving mini painters a home for all of us rather than being split between 4 categories would be amazing.

Co-signed! I was waving this flag back in May, and your platform will inevitably reach further than mine! It’s silly that this is such a difficult process to implement!

Signed! Scrolling through "Warhammer" to find painting streams takes away recognition from others

Signed! Scrolling through "Warhammer" to find painting streams is unnecessary.

It’s infuriating for me as someone who spends a lot of time painting miniatures on stream not having a suitable category for it

There are a lot of miniature painting streamers. There should be a catagory for them, and to help people find them.
