Group channels you follow into different categories
I like the idea of grouping channels we follow into different categories, so you can find a channel you'd like to participate in, depending on the time you have, or the mood you're in.
Say you follow ChannelA, ChannelB, ChannelC, and ChannelD.
ChannelA and ChannelC are quiet, cosy streamers.
ChannelB and ChannelD are chaotic, high-energy streamers.
You're feeling kinda tired and want to wind down, so you click on where it says "followed channels" (underneath For You), and you click "sort by", and you click on the category you want, in this instance, "cosy streamers" (named and organised by you), and you're given a list of those streamers that you've put into this group yourself. You see ChannelA and ChannelC in the list, and you know that when you click on their names and enter their streams, you're going to enjoy the vibe that they're known for.
This could also be a good idea for finding someone to raid!
I just really, really love the idea of customising and organising our follower lists.
Thank you :)

I would love to see the user have more control over what channels they see in their followed channels side panel. I would love to see nestable categories, even better if the categories are customizable by the user. It would also be great to have options to set favorites that will always be visible if online instead of getting lost in the ever-growing lists of followed channels.
Some users choose to unfollow smaller streamers or those they don't watch often to make their side panel more manageable, which is really unhelpful for smaller streamers trying desperately to grow their followers.
