Add more Creative categories like Needleworking, Woodworking, Metalworking, and 3D Printing
Currently it's difficult to find certain kinds of creative works and it would be nice to add some of the major categories to help find exactly what I'm looking for.
Some of the most prominent ones I've noticed:
- Needleworking: Knitting, stitching, sewing, leatherwork, etc
- Mechanical Keyboard: Assembly and modifications of mechanical keyboards
- 3D Printing: Streaming their 3D printers or discussing them
- Woodworking: Carvers, lathe, Guitar Makers
- Metalworking: machining and forgers
- 3D Design: CAD Design work and modeling
- Model Makers: Lego, scale models, and miniatures
The Art Category could also be split up more:
- Painting
- Drawing/Sketching
- Sculpting
- Digital Art
Thanks!

This would be a very useful implementation. Considering the number of categories that already exist, what would be the issue with adding hyper specific ones? Even going as far as creating separate categories for different programs used for CAD for example. If there's a category for every game on steam, why not make a category for different modeling soft-wares.

This is a very valid concern, and better categorization would significantly improve discoverability on Twitch. Adding dedicated creative and technical categories—such as Metalworking, Woodworking, 3D Printing, CAD Design, and Model Making—would help viewers find exactly the type of content they’re interested in without relying solely on tags.
For highly technical streams like machining, CNC work, or fabrication, broad categories often fail to capture the depth of the content. Creators working with precision tools, prototyping, or manufacturing workflows would benefit greatly from more granular filtering options. For example, streams involving CNC setups, workholding, or fabrication processes often rely on

This would make Twitch far more welcoming for skilled makers, engineers, and builders.

this would be a great idea like how different games have their own category different creative fields should have their own category instead of being merged into few board category's.

This would be more helpful than tags because you can break up videos by different activities.
Ie for part of it I did woodworking them for another part I did metal working. Tags also only work when people are live.
Like how you can do with different games.

I am very familar to designing and printing field. I have used these all types of category to make differents design and art. I am using the best sublimation printer to generate quality result. You can also use it for your art gallery. I suggest you to at least once read about https://bestsublimationprinters.net/best-heat-press-machine/ the Best Heat Press Machine. It will helps you a lot
