Remove thumbnail preview clutter
As someone who frequently goes into categories for my favourite games to find new potential streamers to watch I find it to be quite the eyesore to see stream preview thumbnails cluttered by so many things. Top left is a useless icon telling me that the streamer is live, top right has a timer of how long they've been live for, and the bottom left has their viewer count.
That's three out of four corners taken up by rubbish that obscures the preview. Most streamers who have a webcam place them in the corners, thus there's a 75% chance that their face is being obscured, or their overlay/goals or whatever else they feel would be best suited to a corner of the canvas is covered instead.
My suggestion: Remove the live indicator outright... It's a live streaming service, we know that the streamer is live, with exception to reruns which I feel should keep an icon to indicate that it is not a live broadcast.
Instead of saying for example "10 viewers" in the lower left it should have the person icon that we see in the streams themselves followed by a number with the stream duration clock directly next to that. Additionally place the rerun icon with those two and you already have a much cleaner UI where all of the information a browsing viewer needs to know is in one place and is clear to understand. Or even go one step further and not overlap any part of the preview at all and place these icons and numbers next to the username as there is enough space.
