Indie Games/Indie Horror Games categories NEEDED

Indie games on Twitch have close to zero discoverability. As an indie horror streamer myself, it would be amazing if instead of choosing the game title (that most won’t know to look for) there was a category for Indie Horror Games. Indie Horror Games should have it’s own category much like Retro Games do. The same goes for all other genres of indie games. Even just an Indie Games category in general would help. Not only would it give more discoverability to indie game streamers, but also to the indie game developers as well. I know many other streamers who would like to see this happen! Thank you for your time.

Yes, Twitch needs a category for indie games and indie horror games too
    I hope Twitch implement it

This would help out the horror streamers and the indie devs so much, since games/demos is very broad! Yes please give us an indie /indie horror category! Thank you.

An indie horror category would help us horror streamers that play indie horror games and the title is not on the category list. The games & demos category is not very popular and goes unnoticed, which hurts us not having a chance to reach the recommended page. I believe an Indie Horror category would catch the attention where it needs to be

Yes, please build out the Indie Games category.

This is perfect, I play so many indie horror games and a lot of them don't have their own category. This would fix that!

Great idea! Many smaller indie games don't have their own category, so there's no good place to put them other than Games & Demos, which then floods that category

    Totally!

I'm an indie dev working on a horror game now and regularly stream the development of it.

Rooting for an Indie Horror Games & Demos category! This would be a game changer for the horror gaming community.

It would be wonderful to have an Indie games category on Twitch! I would love to see it and to be able to find more Indie games streamers much more easier in the near future. Have been waiting for a category like that for some time now.

100% this would be an awesome category to have on twitch

agreed! games + demos category is a little too broad and vague anyway.

Glad to see this getting so much attention recently!! Having an indie games category in general, not just horror indie games, would be so helpful with discoverability and finding other streamers who stream/play similar content. And like ArchangelSavina said, it will help game developers too and build hype for more of their games!
  • SimplySavina commented  ·   ·  Report

I absolutely agree! As someone who aims for indie horror almost exclusively, there are so many times I have to just sit in the vague "Games & Demos" with only tags to indicate it's horror. I'd LOVE this, and indie game devs would too!
