Mechanical Keyboards

As the mechanical keyboard community continues to grow, the Makers and Crafting section is becoming overwhelmingly overrun by keyboard makers. This sub-community continues to exceed beyond the presumptuous categories related to tech and gaming -- our community is filled with creative directors, athletes, artists, designers, etc. Creating a dedicated category for the construction of mechanical keyboards, will allow this sub community to grow with more intention, and allow this niche hobby to have a more significant role in the future of culture and tech.

    100% agree - the tag is a step in the right direction but it seems people who 'use' keyboards seem to be using it now. I'd also LOVE to see a Photography category. Again the tag is fantastic but a category would help photographers find one another and build a community more too.

    The Keyboard tag was approved but I saw it being used by gamers and not for building custom mechanical keyboards. A dedicated category would be great.

    This would be great! Would save me from looking through the thumbnails of Makers and Crafting to find keyboard streamers

    The Mechanical Keyboards category will be an appropriate and meaningful space for our content that is more fitting than Makers & Crafting or Just Chatting. Love your work Timmy

    This would mean the world to this community and would truly give up a platform to grow and help create a space to be creative and not get lost in the mix of others crafts.
