I'm going to assume that the reason for this is that five was the limit for tags before the addition of the 350+ new identity tags and the assumption was nobody would use more than five stream-identifying tags like "No Spoilers" or "Speedrun" unless they were spamming.

I am a heterosexual white cisgender English-speaking able-bodied American male. And even *I* hit four identity tags going off the new list before even considering game or stream specific ones. This limit needs to be increased as soon as possible.

Identity tags should be set up in the users account, and apply to all their streams like language does, rather than share the 5 tag limit with gaming tags and need to be configured every stream.

I'd really like an increase on the limit of tags, considering there are plenty for us to use and feel represented by simultaneously.

Please, increase the amount of tags! Having to choose between tags describing my identity is not something I want to do.

Not asking for unlimited tags but for everyone to align their stream with their communities and their identities and then link the games like no backseating etc. You have no space at all left. 10 would be suitable!

I'd be fine with the auto tags removed completely, and let us pick if we want our game to be tagged "Action" or something more important to us :) then we won't have an overhaul of tags, and can stick to the 10 limit.

300+ new tags with a 5 tag limit? Might need to revisit that.

With the addition of the new tags, streamers need additional tag spots to make room for adding the new ones.

Identity tags are so important to who we are both as people and as content creators. But actual game- or stream-related tags are also needed for obvious reasons. We need more room for both.

More tags would be helpful especially with them just adding 300+ more tags to twitch.

I can't even fit all of what I am into 5 tags. We NEED More tag Slots.

Alternatively, have identity tags not count towards the tag limit and have them be saved or toggled on/off between streams (credit to @MouseIsTaken on Twitter for this idea, just reposting here for visiblity)

100% we need more room for tags. I always need room for a 6th even before this haha. I definitely want to be able to tailor it right.

This is very needed.

Anything that would increase and improve Discoverability would be amazing and way past time to implement.
