Filter out Twitch recommendations by tag (not just category or user).
I like that you can say "not interested" to specific games (or categories) but I wish you could do it for tags as well.
For example, if you don't want be recommended "no backseating allowed" channels, you should be able to filter those recommended channels out.
This would also be useful for filtering out non-English recommendations that I keep getting or certain game genres or stream types that that a user might not care about.

Admin audit: User would like to be able to select "Not Interested" on a tag.
Not these language... direct in channel succession
Support site say we can say “I do not want this language/channel/Game… succession” but there is not.
This are the only two 3 dots - both I cannot say I am not interest in this language, Channel!
And HOW we can delete the data what use the stupid algorithm? I was one time in an English Channel, then comes more and more English Channel successions - I do not want see this!my suggestion would have been to be able to say to the green mark, “I don't want this show”
https://ibb.co/BGH6L2d
https://ibb.co/PZttvhKPlease look at these two pictures
And to block a human complete – THIS IS REALY NOT A GOOD OPTION!!!!
ThxAnd for the Admin who closed my Thread before. I really cannot understand, I have written back over dislike but never comes an answer back.
Really unfair to close a thread before anybody can write back. It is not helpful and without respect, very rude.Your text was not helpful “Hey there,
You need to click on the three dots by a video and choose "Not Interested". Another alternative is using /block command on a channel. This will keep it from showing in your recommendations, as well.”So, watch the pictures and vote what you thing.
And for the Admins/Mods, do not close it, how we can make Twitch better when you close all before any can response? Makes absolutely no sense.
Thx all for reading and your reactions.

This needs to be a thing. Tags are useless if non-interested users can't filter them out! For every streamer you're not interested in you get recommended, there's a potentially interesting streamer you're missing out on!

Instead of only having options for Not Interested in this channel or Not Interested in this game.. why not have by Tag? If I only want to see languages that I speak, I can filter others out. Or if someone has a problem with “no backseat gaming”, for instance, they can choose not to see those streams.

Just use the Unwanted Twitch extension for Chrome.

Would be great, then I can filter out people who think their sexual orientation has any relevance to playing a game or think it interests me at all. I mean, seriously, why even add sexual preferences as a tag in the first place on a website that is made for streaming games. In what world would that make sense?

Allow us to block the stuff that isn't of interest. As mentioned below tags will actually be useful then too. Currently tags are encouraged to be spammed and to use not valid ones because "get in front of everyone". No penalty for false flags. If they will be eliminating potential good viewers by spam flagging with tag blocking allowed, it will lead them to use valid tags for streams. Thus making them helpful in finding a viewers desired content again.

I would like to be able to block "Tags"

Please implement a way to filter out streams or games with tags, similarly to how I can press "block category" or "not interested".

There are many channels I would never watch based solely on their tags. With this feature, I can filter out the channels I will never watch, and help me find and watch more channels I'm actually interested in. Thus freeing me up to spend more time/money on Twitch.

Yes, I would like VODs, highlights, clips and streams with certain tags to be excluded from my recommendations too.

Could you, please, add an opportunity to to choose tags by default for recommendations? For example, if I choose a tag "English" in my settings, all streams in my recommendation will have this tag.

100% this, we need the ability to filter out certain tags when browsing a category

Another thing that this would do is encourage streamers to only have valid tags in their stream. Right now, there's no incentive to not just spam out tags. If there were the ability to screen out content via tag, then people wouldn't do that to avoid being accidentally screened out.

Same. This is just basic functionality that SHOULD have been here from the start.

"I want the ability to go in to my settings and perma-ignore certain tags that I am 100% not interested in.
There are so many tags already and also so many I don't want to see - it would be nice to curate my viewing experience by setting it so streams with Ignored Tags don't show up."
This. I don't want to see certain tags.

This would be a godsend addition, but Twitch already ignores that I filtered out "Just Chatting" and keeps recommending me creators I've also asked to stop recommending.
The filters don't work and Twitch doesn't care.

Tags already exist, can you add filtering to stream recommendations to exclude certain tags?
For example, I will never be interested in viewing any streams of music or ASMR. I know there are tags for them, so it would be nice to have a blacklist of tags so that any currently airing stream with a matching tag isn't recommended to me, so I can more easily see streams that I more likely will be interested in.P.S. Sorry if this post is repetitive, I'm finding the submission box pretty unintuitive. Also sorry if this idea is already up, I couldn't see anything like it.

Same here. We have option to filter games, users, but not tags. I just wonder why.

Seeing as Twitch already has Tags for streams, we should be able to curate our list of streams using said tags.
I want to straight up block certain categories from ever being shown as I'm not interested in many of them.
Why have tags if we cannot use them to curate our viewing experience?
