Followed categories stop showing up after following too many
Once you're following what I think is around 80-100 categories, they stop showing up on your list of followed categories, even if they have live streams. I like to discover streamers by following a bunch of my favorite games, but I'm running up against this limit constantly, and have to keep unfollowing and rotating out games. Would love this limit to be increased.

As someone who doesn't care for many new games and follows a bunch of older "retro" ones it sucks that there's not only a limit but also no page to see every game your account is following nor the number of how many you can follow (though there should BE a limit; games are constantly being made and released so why should I stop following old ones?)

why in the world would you even HAVE a limit like this? this is just nonsense... absolute and utter nonsense. not to mention that twitch is not even showing u all categories u follow, only when they get streamed, gotta use the app for that because OF COURSE u do... insane to me...
i cannot believe this is an actual thing -

really annoying they snuck this in - I don't really care what the masses are watching, I like what I like and I only really care to watch that.
I don't need to see the popularity contest.

This topic is hugely important to me. I follow a lot of old games that get rarely streamed by anyone, so I'm always excited when I see that category go live in my follow list. I have found some great streamers this way.
Recently Twitch has introduced a new limit of how many categories can be followed, see for example https://www.reddit.com/r/Twitch/comments/14erd9k/not_able_to_follow_games_under_categories_anymore/. Now, I can no longer add any new games to my follow list.
For me, this completely destroys the way I interact with Twitch. As someone who is interested in streaming myself in the future, I am also worried that people would not find my streams if I stream an old game, as people are discouraged from following a larger variety of categories.
I implore Twitch to reconsider this cap. Please remove it entirely or set it to a much higher limit (1500).

I just realized that Disco Elysium has never showed on my Live Categories page (https://www.twitch.tv/directory/following/games) despite there being several channels streaming it every time I manually checked. I have the same problem with Quake. I'm sure there are more.
I would really like this feature of Twitch to work..

I don't even have that many followed and it doesn't show even half of them.
