CyberSecurity
I would like a Cyber Security Category. There is a large community of CyberSec streamers and even more followers. Currently there are only 3 categories we can stream under:
TryHackMe
Hack The Box
Science and Tech
TryHackMe and HackTheBox are usually never used as although we do stream content from both websites we will often swap platforms or stream other platforms/things in between.
Science and Tech is the closest category we have however CyberSec Streamers usually get lost among all the other streamers and it can be hard to differentiate between the CyberSec Streams and Programming Streams as they may appear to be the same but are very different in terms of content.

I'm a bit mixed on this. I feel like a security related tag or two might be better. My thought being that security streamers benefit from being discoverable along-side the development content; it is different but appeals to a similar audience.

The ethical hacking community is thriving and twitch should capitalize on this by giving it a category. Some great examples include Alh4zr3d, Hacking Esports, NahamSec, dayzerosec, thecybermentor, and TheMayor11 (and many more!).

Security streamers are some of the best resources for new people getting interested in the field and learning the skills necessary to find jobs. With more educational content going online Twitch has become an incredibly important part of the streaming ecosystem, not just for gamers. Help us improve the discoverability and reach more people.

Agreed wholeheartedly. There's certainly a big enough cybersec community (and a wonderful one at that) to justify its own category.

Potential titles: Cybersecurity/Information Technology/Information Security
Just as we consider Programming too specific to be clumped together in the Science and Technology style of stream, I believe the same is true for Infosec/IT. Instead of creating multiple categories for platforms like TryHackMe or HackTheBox, I think there should be a general category for all things IT. These individual communities are large enough to warrant their own categories, and I think it would be fair that one large category is established - especially
when considering the spectrum of knowledge covered by Information Security.
