Suggested streams not only by highest viewer count
The browsing itself is great, I like that we can browse separate subcategories (for example in Gaming) like Shooter, Action & Adventure, Role Playing etc but it would be great if the shown streams weren't all the highest viewer counts. Yeah it increases the discoverability but only if you're in the top 5-10.
Maybe there is a way to display random streams from that category/subcategory? A mix of different channels would be great so streamers with lower view counts don't disappear. Especially because expanding the subcategory only gives you a few more streams, not all of them. Normally we can sort by highest to lowest, lowest to highest or recently started; would be great to see something similar. Letting us filter by tags would be great, too.

How to Write an Effective Essay: A Guide for UK Students
Essay writing is a fundamental skill for students in the UK, whether you're in secondary school, college, or university. Crafting a well-structured and compelling essay can help you excel academically. Here’s a step-by-step guide to writing an effective essay.Step 1: Understand the Essay Question
Before you start writing, make sure you fully understand the essay question. Look for keywords that indicate the type of essay required, such as “discuss,” “compare,” “analyze,” or “evaluate.” Understanding the question will help you stay focused and answer it appropriately.Step 2: Conduct Thorough Research
Gather information from credible sources, such as academic journals, books, and reputable websites. Take notes and keep track of your sources for referencing. Ensure that you have a well-rounded understanding of the topic.Step 3: Plan Your Essay
Creating an outline is crucial for a well-organized essay. Your plan should include:Introduction: Introduce the topic and present your thesis statement.
Main Body: Divide the main body into paragraphs, each covering a specific point or argument. Include evidence and examples to support your points.
Conclusion: Summarize your main points and restate your thesis, highlighting the significance of your arguments.
Step 4: Write a Strong Introduction
The introduction sets the tone for your essay. Start with a hook to capture the reader’s interest, such as a quote, a question, or an interesting fact. Follow this with background information on the topic and your thesis statement, which should clearly state your main argument or point of view.Step 5: Develop the Main Body
Each paragraph in the main body should focus on a single idea that supports your thesis. Start with a topic sentence that introduces the main idea of the paragraph. Follow this with evidence and examples, and conclude with a sentence that ties the paragraph back to the thesis.Use Clear and Concise Language: Avoid overly complex sentences and jargon.
Use Transitional Phrases: These help to guide the reader through your argument. Phrases like “Furthermore,” “In addition,” and “On the other hand,” can be very useful.
Step 6: Write a Compelling Conclusion
The conclusion should bring your essay to a satisfying close. Summarize the main points you’ve made and restate your thesis in light of the evidence you’ve presented. Avoid introducing new information in the conclusion. Instead, aim to leave a lasting impression on the reader.Step 7: Edit and Proofread
Editing and proofreading are crucial steps in the essay-writing process. They help to ensure that your essay is clear, coherent, and free of errors.Take a Break: After writing your essay, take a break before you start editing. This will help you approach your work with fresh eyes.
Check for Clarity and Consistency: Make sure your arguments flow logically and your ideas are clearly expressed.
Proofread for Errors: Look for grammatical, punctuation, and spelling mistakes. Reading your essay aloud can help you catch errors you might miss when reading silently.
Step 8: Proper Referencing
In UK academic writing, proper referencing is essential. Use the referencing style specified by your institution, such as Harvard, APA, or MLA. Include in-text citations and a bibliography or reference list at the end of your essay.Tips for Success
Start Early: Give yourself plenty of time to research, write, and revise your essay.
Stay Focused: Keep your thesis statement in mind as you write to ensure you stay on topic.
Seek Feedback: Don’t hesitate to ask teachers, classmates, or writing centres for feedback on your essay.
Conclusion
Writing an effective essay involves careful planning, thorough research, clear writing, and meticulous editing. By following these steps and tips, you can improve your essay-writing skills and achieve academic success in the UK.Happy writing!

The browsing experience is great, allowing users to explore separate subcategories like Shooter, Action & Adventure, and Role Playing. However, it would be beneficial if the displayed streams weren’t solely based on highest viewer counts. This approach increases discoverability only for the top 5-10 streams. Displaying random streams from each subcategory could provide a mix of different channels, helping streamers with lower view counts gain visibility. Expanding the subcategory currently shows just a few more streams, not all. Services like myassignmenthelp https://myassignmenthelp.com/uk/homework-help-uk.html can offer similar benefits for students by providing valuable homework help, ensuring a variety of academic support. Introducing sorting options such as highest to lowest, lowest to highest, or recently started would be useful. Additionally, filtering by tags would enhance the user experience.

This would be so nice. I understand that the huge channels deserve love too, but it'd be cool to see far more small channels listed in my recommended.
If we want the huge streamers, chances are we'll search for them ourselves because we know their names; we don't typically have that info for a small creator that we may end up loving, so the promotional help would be cool to see.

Isn't it so unfair for viewers with low ratings not to be able to be seen in JUST CHATTING because there's no LOW to HIGH setting anymore in just chatting?
I hope the twitch developers bring this feature back and that people vote in favor of this.

I understand why the “low to high” filter was removed by Twitch, but honestly it is so very bad for small streamers. I do believe safety is most important especially with young streamers, but what about the negative impact of removing this filter? Many of my small streamer friends have suffered immensely from this filter being removed since not all of them have fancy PCs, etc. All they can do is Just Chatting, but they’ve noticed their viewer counts drop dramatically since this filter was removed from the category. It’s not just bad for small streamers, but people who enjoy watching small streamers because you can actually have a conversation with them without your message being slowed or lost in a flood of messages like it happens on bigger channels. Isn’t the point of filters to help us find what we want with ease? I really think this needs to be addressed as soon as possible. A new filter, a better way to keep children from being able to sign up in the first place, something, anything!

As someone who loves watching and supporting small streamers, it is very discouraging to find them through looking at all the streamers playing a certain game.
Right now there is a filter option which can be either set to "Recommended" or "Viewer count high to low". This would mean I either have to look through my recommended (which are also not very accurate as most of them are just streamers with 100+ watchers right at the top) or scroll all the way down if I filter on "high to low" viewer count.
By making "Low to high viewer count" an option in the filter everyone would be able to find small streamers easier and give them some support (:

Allow sorting by "lowest" viewers - you can sort by highest viewers already but if you wanted to scroll to lower - the site struggles on most browsers.
Or you could add ranges (e.g. with view count 10-50, 51-100 etc) - it'll help smaller streamers gain exposure to grow.

Can't find neither big/mid/or small streamers efficiently anymore. Probably wasted more then an hour of my time since it was implemented, searching for Streamers I was able to find before (by just approximately knowing how many views they usually get) in mere second.
Please revert this as soon as possible.
Edit: I'd also appreciate a button where I can give a thumbs down on Ideas. This one deserves it.

I'm having a super hard time finding the streamers i use to watch due the confusion on the tab, and most of them are super small streamer (20-50) viewers which is the opposite of what you're trying to make... Like all the other on this thread i was not asked to be part of this test and we can't even turn it off/ask to be removed. Please revert those changes on our accounts.

If you are going to 'sort based on viewing behaviour' and my most viewed channels are consistently at the bottom it looks more like an experiment in promoting partnered streamers instead of making it a more enjoyable experience for viewers. Please give anyone in the experiment the option to opt-out because it's actually making me unfollow people so the list looks less ridiculous.
