Make Art/Creative its own directory

Hey all!
We’re excited to announce that we’ve rolled out the new Creative directory today!
As we mentioned before, the Creative directory features creators in our artistic categories including Art, Beauty & Body Art, Food & Drink, Makers & Crafting, and Software & Game Development. This will make it easier for both viewers that want to discover creators in these categories and creators looking to find and connect with others who stream creative content.
We expect these directories to continue to grow over time, so please keep the ideas coming. And if you believe an existing category is missing from this list, please let us know.
Thank you for all your feedback and as always we look forward to more of it. We’re looking forward to seeing you, your communities, and your creativity in the new directory!

The content between art and other IRL streams is too different to be put in the same directory.

Creative really needs to come back separate of IRL and to be along side Music.

IRL is not an accurate categorization of art, you might as well put video games as a whole under IRL if you do that. It'd make just as much sense.
Why make things harder on artists for no reason?

there is a HUGE art community on twitch, so it really deserves recognition with a category of its own.
shoving it under the IRL category feels incredibly disingenuous on twitch's part - especially when music has its own category despite all of the DMCA nonsense going on. not to mention that esports should really be a sub-category of gaming...
there is plenty of room to uplift the artists which make up a big portion of the platform. -

I liked finding artists through this manner and it would help me and artists alike

Twitch really needs to bring back Creative or Art Directories. Finding artists and makers and creators on Twitch is really not easy and that breaks my heart for all the amazing artists that are not being discovered because of how the site is organized.

Artists are typically shoved under a rug, often. We need a place to be found, art is around us 24/7 and doing this would help hundreds in their art, shops, and more.

Twitch wouldn't be a lot of places without art. From emotes to digital content- from games themselves quite literally as an art form- it is an absolute must that we get our own category. For years we've been shafted unless there's something you want from us before you put us back in our box under the table. Please help us actually be seen!! We're just as important as gaming sections.

There are so many talented artists on Twitch in so many different ways, its a shame to see us being hidden again under IRL. Please show some care towards art/creative, there is so much variety and it's already hard enough to get discovered. Besides that, the art community is talented, amazing and super supportive towards eachother, after all these years it would be nice to get some recognition.

Art or creative, we've been shafted ever since all these divisions happened, it's either streaming in Just chatting where it's guaranteed to get a bunch of trolls or getting lost in thousands of IRL streams, or to stream in the art section that people mostly just lurk or don't even know that it exists...let people know we exist, after 5 years of streaming in this section i still get people saying that they didn't even knew you could stream art.

"Making it more inclusive" but Music has it's own category....

The creative/art communities are honestly some of the most kind, uplifting and amazing places to be. They're truly a bright spot on this platform.

This is a must! The Artist community on twitch is such a vibrant and wholesome scene!
Art should be featured up front instead of buried under IRL.
Tbh, the majority of art streams are just as ‘IRL’ as most game streams... so this categorization is a little illogical.

Creativity should be a separate category on its own. There are content creators that do things outside of irl that actually contributes to the growth of content creation. Creative: Woodwork, PC building, Audio Production, Vocalist, Art, Painting, Sculpting and the list goes on.

Art is not necessarily part of IRL. There's plenty of artists that actually draw digitally, use vector art, or even paint using digital tools. There's also many things like Video Editing, 3D modeling, 2D/3D Animations, 2D Spriting, Visual Effects, Graphics Designs, and so many things that don't belong to the "IRL" category.
I get the idea behind making the two linked together, because a lot of artists also draw on their real canvases, people will make a real life pot, or do a perler bead art for someone to give to! BUT, Art is a lot more than just that. Heck, Music is part of "Art" in itself, but it has its own category.
Adding to that, when you think of "IRL", you're thinking about talking to a person in a real life environment. Thinking of "Just Chatting", "Newscasts", "IRL Trips" or things like that. Creativity is NOT the main "thought" linked to the category.
Hopefully this will be fixed soon!
