Safe Space Tag
We need a "safe space" tag, so that LGBTQ+ viewers can find LGBTQ+-friendly channels, without allies having to use the LGBTQIA+ tag, which jumbles everyone together. Without this tag, allies don't have a clean way to signal their inclusivity.
Hey there!
Happy to share that Twitch now has a Safe Space tag!
Thank you so much for this feedback and please let us know if you have any other tags you would like to see on Twitch <3

Yes, there is an Ally tag now, which is exactly what we were looking for! Twitch won't allow me to delete my own post, lol. So yes, use that tag and ignore this lol.

There's an actual tag for Allies now! I believe it is just Ally

YES!! i've been thinking about this for a while. i want to find more lgbtq+ streamers, but i'm always running into allies. the fact that allies are using it is nice, but it's drowning out actual lgbtq+ content creators

Please consider adding a "Safe Space" tag for allies rather than encouraging them to use the tag of the group they want to support. It will make things easier for viewers who are members of marginalized communities so they may find streamers who celebrate their differences. It will also free tags like the LGBTIQA+ tag so it can be used to find streamers who identify WITHIN that category.
