Support for games on Linux can be inconsistent, and it's really helpful to be able to see how well a game runs on the OS when making purchasing decisions. A way to easily find other people streaming on Linux would be a boon.
The Linux tag is now live on Twitch!
Thank you so much for this feedback and please let us know if there are other tags you would like to see live on the site!

this would also be handy for VM gamers. I play most games in a windows VM but I'm set up with looking glass plugin for OBS so I capture the video stream from the VM and stream from my linux host.
With Windows 11 forcing upgrades for some users, now would be a great time to show there's life for that older hardware
> Even if the game is being played on windows, it'd be nice to add the tag if it is available for Linux or fully compatible with Wine or Proton.
I wouldn’t want the tag to get auto-applied. I’d want to use the tag to find fellow streamers streaming on Linux, not just a game that happens to be playable under it. There are other places for that (ProtonDB, Wine HQ, TuxDB, …).
Would giver me something I would always search for.
Some speedruns are done on GNU/Linux. This tag is well-deserved!
I'm linux streamer in spanish. I love this.
absolutely needed to better find linux streamers
Linux needs more support so you got my vote.
Really like this idea tbh, Linux is an interesting thing and has a cool community around it

yes, please... but wouldn't it need Tags for other OSes, too?
Make it happen!
I don't even use Twitch that much, but hey let's support the Tux anyway
I can't believe #Linux is not available yet 😲
Yes please !
Yes, this could be a fun idea! Please say yes to this!
The only way i know to find Linux streamers is Tuxdb webpage, so this would be a nice thing to have.
