Recommended channel
I keep seeing these "recommended channels" but it's always the top streamer, or the speed run comps, stuff like this. I actually hate speed runs, because they are not actual game wins, so I don't want to see that. What if I could filter that out a bit and have more control over what's recommended to me? Maybe by selection of game genre, or specific game title? Anything other than being recommended to watch people cheat at games. I'm just trying to find a way to get the most out of twitch for me. Thanks for your time.

I have noticed that the "Recommended Channels" sidebar is displaying channels with highly controversial content.
It would be better if the streams that are shown on the front page were as unbiased and decent as possible, regardless of their popularity, to appeal to a diverse audience and to not offend different demographics.

A For You feed, that shows streamers that Twitch thinks you might like, through an algorithm that looks at game type, location, and other elements.

The recommended live channels are always the same big streamers or vtubers all playing the same games, I would like to be able to see previews of all the unknown indie games and unknown streamers for when I'm looking to see if there's anything that catches my eye when nobody I follow is live, it's literally impossible to find anything that isn't the same boring stuff with the same people on your recommendations and I would prefer visibility to find someone new and exciting and or a different game that I don't know rather than the same stuff everyone's doing.

https://help.twitch.tv/s/article/Removing-recommendations-you-are-not-interested-in?language=en_US - this does not work, pressing the 3 dots only gives the option to block or report the streamer. So im blocking all the E-girls instead- which i bet is not what you intended. Also as the title says- would be nice if they were actually recommended FOR me and not recommended by you. You see? people get confused, but thats the point rigth? This should be more fair And I mean fair for all the streamers, not just the once youve groomed

Change "Recommended Channels" to "Promoted Channels" or similar.
I never get any streams recommended to me that seem relevant to my follow list / interests or recently viewed streams.
I mostly watch FPS streams (CSGO or Overwatch), mixed with a few variety streamers (who don't play games like Hearthstone, any fighting games, or IRL.). Yet, all I get in my recommended are those 3 categories/games that I have zero interest in.
