Jewish Tag Please With over 350 new tags added, I was immensely disappointed to see the lack of a tag for the Jewish community. Jewishness is an ethnoreligion, not just a religion, and we deserve to be able to find each other just like any other community.

Change the "Autism" community tag to "Autistic" The newly added "autism" tag from Twitch differs majorly from other community tags. Instead of focusing on people from the community specifically (such as the Blind, d/Deaf, Disabled, and many other tags), the tag calls on a "broad" autism community. The tag as it currently is will very likely result in usage by family members, friends, allies, and professionals in the autism world and end up minimizing actually autistic voices. In order to full uplift autistic voices, please change this tag to "autistic" or at least add an additional autistic tag.

We have the aromantic tag, now add in biromantic, panromantic, etc. Many of us in the ace/aro/aspec community (and other parts of the LGBTQIA2+ community) view romantic attraction & ****** attraction as 2 separate things. Adding in these tags would allow us to show more of our identity, and as we all know identity is content.

Polyamorous and Polygamy Tags? Add a tag or tags such as Polygamy or Polyamory and Polyamorous for streamers who are poly and streams discussing it on an open platform.

StarCraft playable race tags The RTS games, StarCraft & StarCraft 2 feature 3 playable races: Zerg, Protoss, and Terran.
Currently, there's no great way to filter the starcraft categories for streamers playing a particular race.
The new tag system including every league of legends champion as a tag sets a precedent for this change and would improve viewing experience and discoverability.

plural tag required recently, a large amount of tags were added to help identify the streamer, in my eyes a great idea for helping build communities of support. however, since most of these tags were put out suddenly in a large list, some of us feel like a very jarring tag was missed: Plural.
Plurality is a complicated, varied concept, yet still a extremely important identifier for many of us. Vegan tag Would love to see a vegan tag so that we can connect with other vegan streamers, build our community and promote education and advocacy.
It is always very exciting to find another vegan streamer in the wild. But it's very hard for us to reach each other on twitch as there are no community features that accommodate this. With plant-based nutrition becoming a growing market and the vegan movement getting larger day by day, I think that it would be nice for us to have a tag to further build that community.329 votesHey all!

Nonbinary Tag It would be fantastic to have a 'Nonbinary' tag. Right now, I'm using heart emojis in the colors of the Nonbinary flag in my stream title to let people know that I'm enby. But since I'm a small streamer, that's a lot of digging through the LGBTQIA+ tag. Hence, it's also hard to find other nonbinary and trans streamers.

Spirituality Spirituality / Metaphysics are encompassing terms for ideas revolving around the nature of reality and the role of conscious experience in it. While more prevalent today in eastern philosophy, these ideas are EXTREMELY popular and on the rise on Youtube (through the likes of Alan Watts to name 1 of TONS of examples) and have been around / echoed in some way by every human civilization through time. Unfortunately, at the moment there isn't a tag available for it.

separate disabled tags I saw twitch's recent blog post about adding additional tags. One of those tags is the " disabled tag". I don't think this tag is specific enough, because there are many different (types of) disabilities. So I came up with two ideas. Either tags of specific disabilities like autism, ADHD, Tourette's syndrome, wheelchair and so on. Or a physical disability and a mental disability tag.

Ally tag request As we all know having safe spaces for queer people is really important and currently there is no tag for this on Twitch. This has meant that a lot of people have been using the LGBTQIA+ tag to represent a safe zone. There has been controversy in cis straight people using this tag and adding a tag for Allies would easily remedy this issue.

An Easier way to find Vtubers specifically Look man I just want to help new vtubers and not have to scroll though a million people just to find those that are having a hard time growing. If not a tag maybe make it a category

Twitch Refuses to Admit it is not a Safe Space. The LGBTQIA+ tag is not being used correctly and needs addressing. That tag should be exclusively used by the queer community. Anyone else i.e. an ally should have a tag that is called Safe Space to show support and that it is a good place for the community without prejudiced. There's too many none queer users that use the tag in order to profit off the community. This needs addressing and time after time Twitch fails to support. Either fix it or admit it. Choice is yours.

Thank you so much for this feedback. Feedback like this helped us look at what tags we added to Twitch. We do want Twitch to be safe for everyone, fostering communities to be able to connect and show support for one another. How users identify themselves, and where they choose to share that information, is a personal decision. Twitch will not regulate a user’s identity or make decisions about whether or not a user truly identities with a certain demographic.
Thanks to community feedback, we now have Unity, Ally, Safe Space and a plethora of LGBTQIA+ tags (https://www.twitch.tv/directory/all/tags) to start the conversation of helping communities feel safe and seen on Twitch. If there are other tags you would like to see added to Twitch, please let us know and we can work on adding them.

Unity tag request Currently, Twitch has the Unreal Engine tag for the Science & Technology category. Unity is an even bigger game engine and there are lots of streamers streaming development of their games in Unity engine. Please add a "Unity" tag to filter for those streams.

New Category: Pool Party I'm aware others have made similar suggestions for an 18+ category or whatev to displace sxy, but not sexually suggestive (unless you view the female body as sxual by nature, which is an entire can of worms in and of itself), hot tub streamers. However, I don't think that actually applies to women who are just sxy, sitting on a banana, as an 18+ category since they do not realistically meet the criteria of prn, or even softcore prn. Add Battlezone 98 Redux back This was a category previously, and streamed at least once a week by the community still playing this game. We are hoping to use twitch streaming to continue to promote this, but not having the category makes it harder to fine, and makes our streams look unprofessional

Black tag The black community has always deserved representation in every single space that we exist in. There are content creators who feel invalidated because we are unable to find other members of the black community on Twitch, especially during a time that we need to stand as one. The black community deserves representation, validation and acknowledgment. We deserve a black tag so that we can find, communicate and uplift each other.
