Followed/Pinned Categories in side bar Can we possibly add a Followed/Pinned Categories section in the side bar, even its below the follower list, we have access to it on the follower page, be nice to have that same flexibility on the side bar too.
I personally follow a few categories that I would like easier access to rather than having to browse to them manually, I am sure I cant be alone in this position too.

Streamers you follow appear in your following list when they are on another person's stream The idea is if a streamer you follow is playing or on a stream you don't follow, it would show in your following list the stream they're on. It would allow people to watch streamers they like when they're not on their own stream, and perhaps even discover new streamers they like.
As for the logistics of such a feature, it could require the streamer that is live to send a request to the guest on their stream, and that person would have to accept it, then it would show the guest as live on another person's stream to the…

Shorten "The Legend of Zelda: ..." to "Zelda: ..." for readability in the sidebar When a streamer's category is set to any of the 45 games in the "The Legend of Zelda:" series (except for the first one), the sidebar will only read "The Legend of Zel...".
This leaves it unclear which Zelda game the streamer is playing, until you hover over their entry in the sidebar.Renaming the categories, e.g. from "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time" to "Zelda: Ocarina of Time", would fix this.
The first game in the series should still be called "The Legend of Zelda" since it doesn't have a second title.1 vote -

Pin subbed channels Currently the order of live channels I follow is whomever started streaming first is at the front or far left of screen. And whomever recently went live at the end or far right of screen. So if there are 12 live streams I have to scroll with my remote past 1-11 to the most recently live channel 12. I want to see my preferred subbed channel 100% of the time over other live content.
It would be great if I could "pin" channels to the front. So every time I boot up the app the are front and center. Quick…

Filter improvement: Allow ‘show more’ on streamers followed to not be impacted by ‘recommended channels’ & viewer to streamer commonalities On twitch tv desktop clicking ‘show more’ to stay alert of when your favourite streamers broadcast is obfuscated when the algorithm is constantly background refreshing recommended channels. This is a nuisance because users can miss broadcast updates, especially if notifications are disabled.

Make it so the "Following" list can always be expanded to show usernames. Can you please make it so we can ALWAYS expand our following list no matter how big the window is? Currently with certain size windows you only show us the profile thumbnails.
This ALWAYS erks me that im forced to make the window bigger in order to see whos online!

Show if following sidepanel is overflowing Until a few days ago the "following channels" sidepanel has also shown channels that are offline, just with a greyed out version of their profile picture. But now that those are not shown anymore, there is no more visual clue on whether there are more channels live that you follow than there are shown on that sidepanel when it is not expanded.
To fix that issue I would propose the follling approach (but I'm also open for other suggestions):

Followed channel sorting I have a few suggestions as a content viewer.
Followed Channel tweaks
The Followed Channel Text section is too large.
The New sorting option is pointless as I have no idea its logic. Not knowing its logic makes it HARDER to find the stream you are looking for.
Add a low to high viewer count sorting option. Some people follow large streamers that they hardly watch.
Show every live streamer followed in the section WITHOUT having to hit Show More. Make it scroll if you have to.
Add a custom order sorting option so I can tier my favorite streamers…1 vote -
Allow sorting offline channels by most recent stream I've noticed that with the new "Followed Channels" update all offline channels now seem to be sorted completely randomly. This makes it difficult to find offline channels with new streams and usually I just give up on watching the VODs on twitch and watch them on another platform instead.

PLEASE put the Following list back to number of viewers at the present time, NOT this NEW order which I can't change and NOT LIKE!! Make Following list expandable The left sidebar that displays icons of the channels one is following, it would be great if it was expandable to show full channel details or at least the name. The icons are not "iconic" enough to know who's behind each one.

Bring back this feature of the desktop service I follow a large number of streamers; mainly because my preference for what type of game or content I'm 'into' at a given time changes. I might be really into Rust for 2 weeks so I want to see people I follow who play that, but then I might pivot into wanting to watch a lot of the streamers in OTK and will want to check when they're live instead.
One of the features I saw recently (which I assume was being beta tested?) was the option to pin/favourite certain streamers you watch all the time.

Collapsible pinned channel, red dot live notification Being able to collapse the pinned channels section, but add a red dot next to the list if someone you have pinned is live, will save some space and still allow us to know when our pinned channels are active.

It's OK Either list our subbed channels at top of the "followed channel list" or highlight them. Now they just get buried beneath channels I only rarely watch.

Favourites Add the ability to 'favourite' a channel, with the option to make all subbed channels favourites.
These favourite channels would appear at the top of your 'followed' list in the sidebar etc - right above the reinstated FRIENDS LIST

Follow Bar UI update The new ui in the follow bar that I am seeing today is confusing and annoying. I thought the "pinned" system would make my follow bar more streamlined but it only worsened my experience.
In collapsed view my followed and live channels are displayed identically to live channels that I don't follow. Live channels that I don't follow should not appear to be followed by me. They should be separated from the ones I follow.
