Make Art/Creative its own directory
Hey all!
We’re excited to announce that we’ve rolled out the new Creative directory today!
As we mentioned before, the Creative directory features creators in our artistic categories including Art, Beauty & Body Art, Food & Drink, Makers & Crafting, and Software & Game Development. This will make it easier for both viewers that want to discover creators in these categories and creators looking to find and connect with others who stream creative content.
We expect these directories to continue to grow over time, so please keep the ideas coming. And if you believe an existing category is missing from this list, please let us know.
Thank you for all your feedback and as always we look forward to more of it. We’re looking forward to seeing you, your communities, and your creativity in the new directory!

Artists are a huge part of the Twitch community and are being completely disregarded with this recent move. Twitch is part of many artists income, visibility and careers and we deserve to have our own well-deserved category.

Sounds awful to hide Art / Creative in IRL, might be a small part of Twitch, but still an important part, especially for Art streamers and fans.

this is a no-brainer. which exec or manager at twitch thought it would be a good idea to umbrella art/creative under IRL?

there are so many streamers who do art. the fact that the biggest streaming platform refuses to acknowledge art as a popular streaming topic is discouraging to potential users.

I've found it so difficult to get people to my page on Twitch. All the networking in the world means I can only do so much. Discoverability would be a game changer for me as a creative and someone who works freelance. I could then spend more time on my art and a little less time trying to get people into the stream itself.

Art needs its own category. Twitch wouldn't be the same without the artists that support the "ecosystem" streamers have here. We provide graphic design, illustration, emotes -- **** near everything that makes a streamer's channel unique! And we do some pretty incredible stuff unrelated to Twitch graphics/design too.

Artists, Illustrators, Graphic designers - they all are a large part of the streaming community and create assets that ultimately make twitch more enjoyable. Give them the respect they deserve by making Art/Creative it's own main directory, not just cram it in with IRL.

Art is NOT in real life. Art is art.

Please don't allow "art" to get buried inside the IRL category. It deserves its own category, just like Music.

Art should have it's own category

Game development is already a mostly-dead category on Twitch after being lumped in with Science and Technology, and the art/creative creators on Twitch are also increasingly being ignored. Please add a dedicated Creative category to cover art and game development to fix this issue.

Why get rid of Art/Creative a Category? It damages discoverability and is an important part of twitch's content.
