This category must return for the sake of this community's existence.

It's a useful filter that covers a good few dozen games and hundreds of fangames. You oughta keep it.

Please keep Touhou Catagory. Its too useful of a filter.

Please fix this, twitch. As it is now, it's bad for everyone involved.

yeah, The touhou category was magically mixed with another game and also kept the cover, causing confusion for streamers and viewers. fix at least the name

This is clearly a inexcusable mistake.

Whoever responsible for hiring, filtering and training incompetent staff like this should take full responsibility. Its the management's problem.

This is extremely unprofessional and gives no respect to game devs at all.

Having such a sloppy, irresponsible working ethnics is a shame for a company.

Should have just left it alone. as in keeping it Touhou

Hi! Person who is going to be doing a charity touhou fangame stream here. You've ruined it. Please let us have the touhou category back so people actually know where to find me.

save them touhous

Not only "Touhou" category has been switched with its fangame, called "Genso Rondo".

In order to solve the problem, some people in Twitch decided to set up "Touhou" as a new category, instead of switching it back to its original category. Causing "Genso Rondo" category still having all the followers that "Touhou" category once had.

Its clearly a management issue and/or the staffs abusing their power, mainly the former.

This is an inexcusable, maliciously-made mistake.

Please fix this :(!

Having Genso Rondo be the forefront of what comes up when searching "Touhou" is very harmful to the community (especially since the game was given the followers from Touhou). Genso Rondo is a fangame that doesn't even come close to representing the actual games (not to mention all of the doujin works), and it being the poster child for a series that it isn't is misleading. It doesn't help that any actual Genso Rondo streamers will be harmed by this change seeing as they will have the category be filled with streams that are related to the actual series from people wanting to stream to the original viewerbase the game had. Splitting up the series into individual categories is also awful, with there being 17 mainline games that people might play any one of (not to mention spinoffs and of course the aforementioned doujin games); this makes it way harder for new viewers to connect with streamers, the game, and the community. I don't solely stream Touhou, but it's a major part of what I DO stream, and this change is ultimately harmful to the community as a whole. Please change this by transferring the Genso Rondo followerbase back to Touhou through renaming the category. I believe this is the fastest and easiest solution to the problem.

As it stands, having Genso Rondo be migrated in followers is misleading for viewers on multiple levels; streamers who want to stream Touhou will likely select Bullet Ballet as their category due to the prior viewerbase being specifically for Touhou as a series. This will end up clouding the category with streams that the actual category is not meant to represent. Secondly, Genso Rondo isn't even close to being representative of the actual Touhou series; anybody who searches up "Touhou" as a category will have this come up instead and be misled. Overall, adding the "Touhou" category fresh anew is such a meaningless band-aid fix that fails to account for the lost viewerbase of the original category to a point where it's astronomical. Please fix this.

I'd like to say this is an oversight, but this is Twitch. Of course it's just being incompetent.

Please migrate the followers!
The title that the original Touhou category was changed to is but one of many works in the series, and a relatively unpopular one at that.
It would make more sense to have the previous followers under the new banner you've created, right?

I'm hoping they fix this.

Please bring the general Touhou category back, there's so many different games in the series that it would be a lot more difficult to find Touhou streams without it

totally agree

Why would you possibly remove this? Just to be a spiteful asshat for something you dont play/care about?

Please migrate the followers properly!

Twitch messed up the original migration by renaming the original category to an obscure fangame, so they should fix it all the way by moving the followers to the new category.

Having proper tracking for these kinds of things are key for small/niche communities like Touhou to continue thriving.
