Higher max. bitrate for everyone including NON-Partners.
To put it simple: I'd like to stream my 1080p60 gameplay in better quality.
My guess is that everyone would like to do it.
For example: YouTube Gaming's recommended bitrate ranges from 4,500 to 9,000 kbps for 1080p60. Here we can use up to 3,100 without having fear that the stream will stutter a lot for the viewers.
Would be awesome if we could get it here as well. Along with Quality options.
As a NON-partner.
Give us a chance to grow our channels with quality from the beginning.

well since you can broadcast with higher resolutions the bitrate really needs upping otherwise having 1440p or 4k streaming is completely pointless because the highest bitrate you can set to can,t even handle 1080p 60fps fast paced as is

I totally agree! I would love to be able to stream at 1080p60. Not sure about non-affiliates but I think affiliates should be able to stream at a higher bitrate.

I am supporting this idea as well.

I'm an affiliate from Turkey but sometimes there is no chance to set quality settings for my viewers what should i do?

Please add this - it makes a genuine difference to view count.
For Partners, probably negligible numbers, but for Affiliates, it's guaranteed to make a difference.

Stream quality settings do exist, but it's not for everyone. Partnered streamers are guaranteed to get it. Affiliated streamers have higher priority, but aren't guaranteed. Everyone else only gets it if there's processing power available.
Lower quality settings require processing power for real-time transcoding. It's not free.

so seems twitch is not helpful at this point. because we talking about weak thing at weak platform.

No qualities is a problem for people who have weak Internet connections or weak graphic card and want to watch streams. I think having lesser qualities will be really better for us.

Twitch, please add quality, everyone gets nervous as there is no change in quality, can not watch your favorite streamer, it will certainly improve your image, a lot of people are running away on YouTube

I watch streams on 720p quality, but once watched on 1080p. Now I have problems and even on the quality of 720p there are errors, the stream is jamming. On the app with the phones after a few hours of watching the app hangs.

I am asking for adding quality for companions, because people on 720p lagging can not normally watch their favorite streamer, please add the remaining quality for the companion

At the moment, affiliates are given quality settings based on availability but it would be nice to know that twitch is working to make this more consistently available.

I think that twitch affiliates should get quality settings for their viewers because they have already proven that they have a following. I would personally like to support these smaller streamers with my viewership, but am unable to due to my bad internet connection, as it cannot handle the high source quality of these streams. Please give twitch affiliates quality options so that people with poor internet can support them
