Hi, thanks for flagging this and sharing your suggestion.
We share and understand your concerns about how the intentional, repeated misuse of tags can undermine the purpose of the tags product itself. Tags are an important discoverability feature for communities, and a powerful way for all Creators—but especially those that are underrepresented—to express their personal identity and creative vision for their content.
We also do not feel Twitch should be the judge of Creators’ personal or creative identity, so we typically only enforce against the misuse of tags when it is associated with other behavior that violates our Community Guidelines such as hateful conduct or harassment.
That said, as the VTuber community’s experience demonstrates, there are limitations to this approach and we are actively investigating additional steps we can take to protect and improve the integrity of the tags feature at scale, without infringing on good faith Creators’ personal choice…

Hey guys, you can actually sort of set this up the way you’re describing! Head to the Videos tab and choose “Customize Layout”. From here, you can edit the layout to display your Clips (I have my own as the very top shelf on my homepage .). Similarly, you can create a Collection of Highlights to be your top shelf. I will leave this topic open for the general feedback about and the Home display, though.

Agreed. Chants are not an issue by nature - the issue often lies in whether or not a streamer's mods know how to utilize them effectively. A simple toggle for those who are comfortable having them enabled would be great.

On 2/2, we will turn off Chants.
While this feature was popular, we observed negative impacts to minutes watched for significant groups of creators.

Twitch Partner here wanting to chime in - this feature has been AMAZING for my growth and engagement, but it's also been something I had meetings with my mod team about on how to use effectively. We've got a good rhythm going and I have a list of features to suggest that could improve chants and the things I think are causing viewership issues.
My chant feature list:
- Toggling on/off of chants, like a redemption pause from your dashboard. Lets the streamer keep chants under control when they need to.
- Setting of cooldowns for chant usage. This is so mods cannot overdo it, especially in chats with a large mod team.
- Written guide on how to effectively use chants. Some streamers and mods just use them whenever, instead of selecting important times and good messages to use them for. Using chants at the right time is what it's all about.
- Toggle for turning on Chant Approval: When a mod chants, allow the streamer to approve it first. This could look just like the automod allow/deny a term UI. This lets the streamer finish a thought or read enough of chat first before letting the chant pop, if the delay is causing it to happen at a bad time.I believe these extra settings and controls could fix many of the issues chants have caused by allowing streamers and mods to not be at odds with each other in their use. Again, I strongly believe the way they're used are an issue and not the feature itself. When used properly, the feature is excellent.
I'd love to be able to set a custom message/format for each platform and when I hit the share button, to simply toggle yes/no on the platforms I want to push to and submit.
