Just wanted to update this thread that we are doing an experiment right now with Stream Display Ads!
These are less disruptive ads that allow viewers to see and hear Creators while being displayed. Creators will receive ad revenue for each SDA shown.

No to this. Hosting/raiding is to build community. There should be tools for small streamers to get more exposure, yes, but this is a bad idea

Hey guys! We really appreciate the feedback that has been brought forth in this thread and just wanted to update you a little bit on what is going on.
This change was originally made to guard against raid bot attacks. While smaller raids are currently viewable in activity feed in the dashboard, we are working on a solution that treats raids equally while guarding against abuse tactics.

Over 2 years since this, my About section still looks like garbage, because I cannot sort my panels, it changes based on the screen resolution. LET US CHOOSE THE AMOUNT OF COLUMNS WE WANT, AT THE VERY LEAST!!!

Please, make this happen. Not only what was already exposed, but even for consistency: each of my panels has a header on the same style, so when adding an extension, I need two panels: 1 for the header, 1 for the extension itself. When swapping resolutions I end up with headers heading nothing, and with panels "unheaded".
It doesn't need to be a full grid, just let as sort stuff by column and choose a maximum amount of columns. Let's say I set to to 3 columns, as it's default 1080 view. When watching in 1440 I'll still see 3 columns, instead of 5, and if on mobile, which shows one column at a time, we can have them one beneath the other instead of side by side. I think that would be the perfect middle ground between what you are doing now, and what we are asking for.

Re-add the REMOVED functionality for Hosts with 1 viewer to show on the feed. Guess what? If someone wants to create a fake account named "YouSuckMDF" and host people with that so that the alert plays, they can also create other 4 fake accounts and have them as extra viewers to achieve the same goal. This FORCIBLY REMOVED functionality does not help at all, it only harms visibility for small streamers.
I will say it again, this change only and exclusively causes harm

PLEASE add a way to AT LEAST!!! Schedule the start. Even if you have to manually set the roll every time, being allowed to schedule the beginning is just a massively useful tool. If I have the time to be there, launch the rerun, and pay attention to it, I might as well be streaming myself!

I have a better idea: Invest your 50% undeserved share of the sub revenue into making small streams grow, instead of a glorified nightbot timer that'll only work for people using twitch useless streaming tools
