Potential Viewbotting Report Option Twitch should add a specific Potential Viewbotting option directly to its live channel reporting tool. This would allow users to immediately flag suspicious streams for staff to investigate. To prevent users from abusing the tool, the system should include safety limits that block the same account or IP address from spamming multiple reports against the same channel. By giving the community a secure way to report unusual activity, Twitch can better track down malicious botting services while protecting creators from targeted harassment campaigns.

Native "AI Threat Intelligence Shield" to Protect Creators and Viewers from Bot Invasions To further strengthen platform security, Twitch should introduce a native, advanced AI Threat Intelligence Shield. While the current Suspicious User Detection tools are helpful, streamers and viewers still face sophisticated bot invasions, mass script attacks, credential-stuffing threats, and sudden spikes in malicious traffic that can trigger accidental account bans or major security breaches.
This native AI bot would act as a proactive, real-time security layer with the following features:
1.Pre-Emptive Brute Force Blocking: Automatically detect and lock down rapid login attempts or suspicious location changes before a hacker can breach a creator's account.
2.Global Threat Intel Sharing: If a bot…2 votes -

Configurable ban time I feel like the Twitch moderation system is extremely primitive and limited and this is a problem not just for me, not just for the viewers, but also streamers.
Why? Well, a warning, timeout, and ban? That's it? I mean, Fandom has more options and that isn't even a streaming service! What do I mean by this? Well, a ban, at least as of this writing, is permanent, but this is a huge problem, because is extremely merciless.
What I'm saying is that, channel-wide bans should have more than one option available. That is, they are able to last for…

official warning should be provided prior to bans or timeouts and bans and timeouts should not be used as an incentivizing or as a joke/fun i feel that bans and timeouts are being used too frequently by moderators for very little reason.
i feel like there should be a system for tracking bans and timeouts by twitch employees to prevent misuse.
i feel that there should be a system to reduce unnecessary bans and timeouts for new chatters that require a warning prior to timeout or ban.
i also feel like bans and timeouts should provide feedback to the chatter as to the reasoning for the ban and refer to the warning for record keeping purposes and to help the user dispute the ban with…

list of modded channels on the left sidebar Hi,
it would be very helpful for moderators if the channels where you are a mod could be displayed in a separate list. I am a moderator in 29 channels, and it would really help me to have those channels immediately visible in their own dedicated list on the left sidebar.2 votes -
Improving Twitch Moderation: A Proposal for Verifying Ban Requests to Ensure Fairness I have unfortunately been unfairly banned from several Twitch channels despite always being polite, friendly, and inclusive to the streamer and everyone in the chat. When I start watching a new streamer, I always mention in my intro comment that I’m a sensitive person and hope they won’t mind me asking questions or discussing things that might feel rude or targeted from my perspective. I ask for understanding, but this is rarely acknowledged by the streamer or their mods.
Despite this, many bans seem to happen because the streamer or mods don’t like me or misunderstand my intentions. I have…

Ability to anonymously unmod yourself There is currently no way to remove yourself from a channel without it notifying the streamer. Not by your own means, or even through twitch support, can you be removed as a moderator from a channel.
I've got individuals who I've cut contact with who have chosen to still keep me as a moderator which I was unaware of until I was checking the channels I moderate. If I were to open contact with them or signify my presence to them in any way, it would open up further harassment from them that I do not wish to invite.
If…

Share report and action on reports with streamer This proposal is around the REPORT feature of twitch not bans. When a moderator reports a suspicious user—or an obvious alternate account of a previously banned user—the streamer is not notified. This lack of communication can create gaps in awareness between the streamer and their mods.
Current Behavior:
At present, if Twitch takes action on such reports, only the moderator who submitted the report receives an email. This email is vague and only states that "some action was taken," without specifying the username of the reported account. The streamer and other moderators are left uninformed.Proposed Solution:
- Streamer Notification:
When…

Bot Role Could we have the ability to identify channel bots separately from human mods? The bots need the mod permissions a lot of the time but the streamers often start ignoring the bot messages in order to focus on chat, but unfortunately that seems to often lead to streamers ignoring any mod messages, not just bots.

shoutout queue Shoutouts will be added to a queue, and will auto shoutout when the timer is up rather than having to wait for the 2min timer. This will make multi raids, large collabs, and shouting out multiple streamers friends in chat much easier for the mods, and focus their attention where its needed on the chat.

Allow chat to restrict problem users when the streamer or moderators are busy There are many moments when streamers are too busy to look at chat or step away from the screen. Many streamers don't always have mods present or their mods aren't always able to read chat. In the moments where the viewers are aware of a problem user, but the streamers and mods are busy, maybe there's potential for trusted users or VIPs to restrict users through reporting until the streamer/mods can take a look. Maybe if something like ten VIPs or ten streamer designated trusted chatters report someone in chat, then they're automatically removed to a restricted user in the…

Suspicious/Restricted User Info Accesibility I am a mod for several streamers that have shared ban lists with their friends. Currently, when a chatter who is banned in another channel chats, their name is just highlighted yellow as restricted. The problem is that, unless a mod was in mod view right when the message was sent, they have no way of unrestricting said user. If they open mod view after the message was sent, the restricted user queue is empty. So, I would like to see an option to unrestrict chatters on their usercards or right next to their names in chat.

Disable or only allow the Broadcaster to use the /shoutout command It would be nice to have the ability to disable or only allow the broadcaster to use the /shoutout command. By default, the command should be enabled. This gives the broadcaster the option to disable it and use their shoutout options. And prevents moderators from using the shouting command, should the broadcaster not want them to use it, and only allows the broadcaster to use it.

add marker colors As a small creator the ability to put a marker down on stream has been really, really useful for making content after the stream is done in the highlighters.
But I was wondering if it could be added to put markers in different colours, that way I can better organise them between timestamps for ad-breaks, funny moments, and compilation moments. Even something simple like "/marker blue" or "/marker red" could help a lot to help get a quick sense of each mark in the timeline.

More restrictions Um I recommend you guys add a more restriction privacy policy to ban only fans links and other adults content links from the platform and prohibited non fully clothing for example streaming in your room and wearing a bikini should not be allowed unless you're at the beach then that's a different story and also I would recommend you guys add a age verification process either by upload a government ID or use AI face scan verification process to help protected minors on the platform as I have seen some minor that been switched from kick to twitch that they…

Site-wide Ban For Specific Bot Messages These nezhna.com spam bots are out of control. I only stream for an hour or 2 and we get about 3 of these in chat every stream, under different twitch accounts. I know a handful of my friends who stream have also seen this.
The message is something like: "Your chat's so quiet, I can hear your viewers snoring. 😴 Wake them up with NEZHNA .COM @sXV25PHp" but there are variants. I have an automod phrase set but we still need to manually ban them. I feel like we shouldn't have to do that though.
Twitch should have some sort…

Loudness limiter It is getting INCREDIBLY old for streamers to do this thing where their normal voice is very low so you have to crank up your volume and then they have sound alerts/etc. that are maxxed out on volume to the point of clipping and then heavily compressed to sound even louder. There either needs to be some kind of noise level gating or just an outright ban on blowing out peoples' ears. I shouldn't get hearing damage from watching a twitch stream.
