Consent with a button that you want to be a mod for a Streamer
Consent with a button that you want to be a mod for a streamer.
Since there are some streamer who just put you as Mod for their channel and you don't want it! So you always have to go to their channel and use /unmod.
It would be better, if you just let us say "ok, yes i want to be your mod" - with a button or something.

What are you even talking about? Useless stuff? For a Feature, that prevent such trolling from even happening? It's not that there was just 3-5 people got moderator role without want to... it was a ******* lot of people...
I would not call it useless to prevent such ********, by a simple addition for the Process of adding a Moderator. It was clearly shown, here in the comments, and on the specific channel chat, that the people were obviously ********* and got annoyed by that person.
And I even don't agree with the complicating, it should not that complicated to implement such basic thing.
And no, not everyone see that they was added as a Moderator, iirc its based on your own notifications settings. I just notice this Idiot did it with me too, because a friend tells me to check if it was happening for me.
I have my chossen 3 Moderator Roles, and don't need some Idiot to troll me ^^
And then comparing the consent button, to prevent trolling. With a how do we feel button and what is your mood button.
How about a talking nonsense button aswell?

A consent button? How do we feel today button? Are you in the Mood to Chat button? To you feel strong enough today button and so on. I can see whenever I've been appointed as a moderator. And I can end it at any time.
I am always opposed to further complicating / enriching the system with on closer inspection actually useless stuff.

Also it seems like blocking doesn't prevent them from modding you. I've blocked a person doing that and still just found out that I was mod there again.
I understand that just adding an option for consent is difficult to implement because of legitimate bots like StreamElements, Nightbot, Moobot, etc. but I think for that Twitch could have an eventsub topic for consent requests and an API endpoint for listing consent requests and approving/denying them.

+111 for that Idea, already got 2 of such Idiots thinking they were funny. It's just annoying me, I already have my 3 Mod Roles, I choose on my own, and don't need some Idiot to put a 4 Mode Role on me...

@Suppymeggy:
the ban is only for your channel chat. You must block him/her over your Settings => Security and Privacy.

The idea came to me because there is simply a problem at the moment with a user who, without being asked, is entering other mods for his harmful channel.
