We would definitely like to give Mods a way to communicate with each other more easily, and are starting to explore implementation options.

As far as I remember, this is currently (28/09/2025) implemented – the chat pauses when you hover over it with the mouse. Warum nimmt Twitch einen solchen Vorschlag dann nicht hier raus? @twitch

I don't see the point in categorically suspecting everyone who is new to Twitch. How does that look for the creators? The first contact with someone who is new to Twitch should be a wonderful celebration. No general suspicion.

I see no reason to. Unfortunately, the proposal also lacks a comprehensible justification. I would prefer there to be free permanent subscriptions for mods in a channel. That way, mods wouldn't be left without a badge if they weren't subscribers.

A consent button? How do we feel today button? Are you in the Mood to Chat button? To you feel strong enough today button and so on. I can see whenever I've been appointed as a moderator. And I can end it at any time.
I am always opposed to further complicating / enriching the system with on closer inspection actually useless stuff.

Just a few sentences in: Disagree. So many streamers understand virtually nothing about their channel's own accounts and roles. Move up another level of complexity there? Please don't.

Just: No.
The Level 3 auto-mode is already generating false positives on an almost constant basis. Words that are blocked directly by the portal provider? Where will it end?Just:No. -

In addition the mentioned website has a thoroughly inadequate UI/UX. Virtually the entire page is empty, and you can't see more than three channels without having to scroll. From a UX perspective, it's a farce.

@SEC_agent: Well, I think that’s how much Twitch is interested in changing/ improving. I’ve therefore given up commenting here. Best example: twitch.tv/moderator. Any questions? 😂
