Suspicious User Controls tweaking
The TL;DR - allow the option to turn off the highlighting of restricted and monitored users, while still having their messages viewable in the suspicious user activity widget.
The new "Suspicious User Controls" feature, while having a lot of potential, currently works in a very counter-productive way. "Restricted" users are notified that they are being restricted, however their messages still show up on both the broadcaster and moderators vision - with an additional highlight. For automatically flagged users this makes sense, but whats the point of manually restricting an account when you could just ban them instead?
This feature would probably work better being used more as a shadowban mechanic, that way ban evaders don't know to make new accounts.
Additionally, having messages sent by "Restricted" users only be shown in the "Suspicious User Activity" widget (as an optional setting) would allow creators to more easily ignore ban evaders and just get on with their stream.
Similarly, "Monitored" users messages still showing up in chat is great, but having all of their messages highlighted with an extra line of height makes it look very similar to the "Highlight my message" redeem. Having those messages simply appear as normal in stream chat, but show up on a list in the "Suspicious User Activity" widget would allow moderators to quickly filter out content while allowing the broadcaster to better focus on interacting with their fans.

The new suspicious user feature is great, but there one huge downside which ends up making me having to ban.
When a user is marked as a suspicious user, they still have the ability to spam redeem channel points redemptions and the message saying "You message has been held due to channel moderation settings" causes a barrage of messages saying "hey I cant type in chat" etc etc etc.
PLEASE make it so suspicious users are UNAWARE they can't chat & don't allow suspicious users (& non followers) to spam redeem channel points.
Please! This would help out small streamers so much.

Agreed there needs to be the ability to turn the flag appearing on a user in chat off and on, so a broadcaster doesn't get distracted while allowing the moderators to still see that information.

Restricted users should not know they are restricted. On the restricted user's end, they should not see anything about their message not being posted. They should be under the impression their message went through normally. The notification, as currently implemented, renders the tool useless.

Restricting the user should work like Shadow Ban, if the moderation thinks he is probably a troll
For example, usually when the user follows with a dubious nickname, most of the times the guy is going to troll, but sometimes is just a good guy with a "funny" nick.
We want to test if the guy is going to troll or not so we can ban him or free him in a safe way without the chat seeing what he said.
The monitored guy SHOULD NOT know he is blocked.
If he types anything and the chat says: Your message could not be sent due moderation settings, it ruins any further investigation we (mods) are doing to make sure he is a troll or a good guy.
