End Stream Option (Available to editors)
Overview:
Currently, Twitch editors can initiate raids to direct viewers to another stream, but the original stream remains live, which can lead to confusion for new viewers and potential issues for the streamer. To prevent this, I propose that editors be given the ability to end a stream when needed, particularly when the streamer is unavailable.
Suggestion:
Streamers should have the option to allow editors to either end the stream automatically after a raid or manually when necessary. This would provide better control over the stream's closure in the absence of the streamer.
Benefits:
Clear Viewer Experience: Avoids confusion for new viewers who may think the stream is still active.
Reputation Protection: Helps maintain a professional image by preventing unintended stream content from continuing.
Hardware Preservation: Prevents unnecessary strain on the streamer's system by ensuring the stream ends promptly.
Best Implementation Approach:
Permission Toggle: Streamers could enable or disable the "End Stream" feature for editors within the channel settings, similar to how they currently manage editor permissions.
Prompt Before Ending: When an editor initiates a raid, they could receive a prompt asking if they would like to end the stream automatically or keep it live, providing an extra layer of control.

Extra thing this would also help with - If the broadcaster is stuck in a situation where they're unable to end their broadcast due to circumstances beyond their control, this would give the editor (or mod if we include mods for this) the ability to end the stream for them without worry!
