I love this idea and think it's beneficial for all parties involved (twitch, viewers and streamers). In a way people are already doing this but the problem is having it somewhere convenient for viewers to see what rewards are given for x bits. streamers who wish to communicate 'the menu' with their viewers that 1 bit does x and 2 does y takes up so much overlay space or chat bot spam. Having it appear in the channel points is such a clean way to show them and if they not interested they can ignore it which makes it convenient for viewers. Love it and yes please x1000

I'm not a lawyer but I feel like there would be legal issues with mixing a real money thing like bits with fake internet points.

When it comes to rewards like 'sub emote for 24 hrs' then I agree. But more personal rewards like 'getting into the team to play along for a day' after months of daily watching? That should not be for sale, should it? Channel points are as well reward for someone who cannot subscribe to every channel they watch and get involved.

This would be super nice! To either let viewers bypass the "wait for X minutes" on a redeem, or to paywall certain redeems beyond Y uses. "You only get two eggs per stream, buuuut if you really want more..."

That's already an option. It's the first setting you have under the Channel Points settings menu.

We definitely need this. Predictions hovering over chat is over-design and makes it frustrating to use as it is. I can't understand how the design team thought it was a good idea to auto resize chat on mobile and force the user to participate or close prediction window size to keep watching stream as they were. Please don't force users for unnecessary interaction.

a settings addition to disable the predictions option so it doesn't show on my end when triggered. Hopefully to let me not have to reload the page every time it is triggered to hear and see the stream again.

why we can't turn off this feature of twitch ? This "little" extensions take a lot of ram/CPU for nothing ! so it can be a good option to let the user choice if he want to see or not the predictions.
regards.

option to disable

Absolutely - when I'm watching channels with frequent predictions I constantly have to click that "X" button now. A little toast from the top right with the prediction icon that you could click to expand would be great. Pls don't change the video size while I'm trying to watch, thanks ;)

It is extremely distracting, annoying and unnecessary that the stream and chat windows automatically resize just to announce a prediction has started. Just use smaller fonts and let me watch the stream on my tiny mobile screen.

Disable option. Because each time the poll pops up, it takes 50% of the screen (mobile/tablet). And apparently I as a dutch person am not allowed to articipate. It annoys me something I may not even participate in, keeps popping up in my screen. It makes me want to turn off the chat completely.

The ability to hide predictions on mobile or maybe also platform wide. When viewing on mobile it can detract from the viewing experience when the streamer/mods are doing them all the time and the player keeps on obnoxiously resizing itself every 30 seconds.

Make a function where you can turn off prediction pop ups on mobile

Predictions are fun on desktop but on mobile they force your stream you are watching out of fullscreen and makes the chat bigger than the stream so it can it the text on screen which is incredibly annoying when there are new predictions every 2 minutes... Please allow us to turn them off if we don't want to take part or see them.
