Channel Points Folders with on/off switch
For variety streamers, it would be wonderful to be able to put certain channel point rewards into folders that can be turned on and off with the flip of a switch.
For example, I could put all my "Fallguys" rewards into a "Fallguys" folder. Then the entire folder could be turned on. When I play a different game, I could turn the folder off.
With the current system, we have to go through a huge list of rewards turning each individual reward on and off when switching games. The end result is that many streamers just have rewards that don't always make sense, depending on what they're doing that day.

My community and I were just talking about this so I cam to see if there was a topic for it already and here it is.
The idea of loadouts/profiles for various things would be great. If you're playing a horror game and want jump scares or if you have a workout stream and things related to that, etc.
Really would be an awesome QoL improvement!

Love this idea. Seems like other do too with the amount of votes. It's been here for sometime though.
I thought I had come up with this idea all by myself, but its common sense others would think the same too
For those like me, variety streamer, it'd be amazing to see a profile/group/loadout of channel point redeems that you can set up to change with whatever game you are playing. Like, have jumpscares and fun stuff for horror games, whereas in another profile you can have redeemables for challenges during a subathon stream or similar.
If theres anyway this could be incorporated into the channel point system I think it would make it easier for streamer and viewers alike.

I agree with you, for the streamer organisation as well as the viewer overall user-friendly image, it can be interesting :
For example, for now there are more or less 2 classifications : the cost of points and eventually if it's a new fonctionality or not.If you are a casual viewer, it's pretty boring to search trough the possibilities that you don't have access because it's too costy, and if you want a function on a specific item (a game, sub, interact with streamer, emoji) grouping items could solve that
for the streamer, if you change your live category, you could just desactivate and activate the whole category and not search for all of the stuff you did add inside it
sorry my english is not the best,
have a nice day

Channel point reward folders:
Make folders that take up the same amount of space as a channel point reward and when clicked, go to a separate set of channel point rewards. Also allow enabling/disabling/pausing redemptions on an entire folder at once (e.g. if a dozen rewards pertain to a specific game, just put them in a folder and disable the folder when not playing the game).
This also helps with reward organization for streamers who have a lot of channel point rewards.

If there are many awards, then it is difficult for the viewer to find the right one.
You can create the ability to create folders for awards. Then the streamer will be able to place rewards according to their "category", and it will be easier for the viewer to find the right reward. -

Add a feature that allows streamers to sort channel points into categories, and some categories are only available when in a certain streaming category. For instance, when a streamer is streaming Minecraft, only the categories that are linked with Minecraft are available to redeem, other than general channel point items. Also, make it easy to lock and unlock the categories by adding a slider button available to the streamer and editors/moderators only.

It would be great if we could have a kind of profile and then set game, title, channel points rewards, etc. with one switch. This could be then part of it also.

Love this idea! If we could also set the game that the folder is used for it would cut down stream setup time and human error of keeping channel points up to date.

ABSOLUTELY! It would also be nice to set a folder cooldown, so, say I have a bunch of sounds, someone could go down the list with multiple sounds back to back, but if I could set a folder cooldown of 10 seconds it'd apply to the whole folder. I'm honestly amazed this doesn't have more vote traction on here this idea is amazing.

This would be especially useful for those of us who do sound effect rewards vs other rewards. I have half a dozen SEs cluttering up my normal rewards, but I don't want to turn them into ! commands and make them infinitely spammable. Let me organize them into folders!

YES! I like to add lots of rewards from different games, plus some sound effects. Having a folder to enable and disable everyone from the same category would make it much easier, as well as being more intuitive for viewers.

YES!!! I was just about to propose this. So glad I found this post. I am a Vtuber and I have a lot of different streams and depending on what type of model I choose to use (2D or 3D) I have different things I can do. It would be nice to separate out my channel point redeems into regular, VR, and other folders. It's always a bummer when I forget to turn things off and someone redeems and I have to tell them "oh shoot, nah not this stream :("

Yes! I need to make different categories that turns on or off certain channel rewards when clicked. This will make my life so much easier

Many of us stream multiple categories.
For instance in a game releated and a non-game related category. For these different categories, different sets of redeems could exist,
like camera switches, playing sound files etc., which only make sense
for a certain category and don't work for another. So if I want to switch the category, I have to manually disable certain redeems, which could be some kind of automated by twitch, when I switch the category, I'm currently streaming in.
It would be great, if you could add an optional category field for a custom redeem, which makes redeems available or unavailable, depending on the current category.

Auto + manual would be great as I sometimes stream from an other location where some rewards don't work. So being able to turn those off in 1 click would be awesome!
