Channel Points Folders with on/off switch
For variety streamers, it would be wonderful to be able to put certain channel point rewards into folders that can be turned on and off with the flip of a switch.
For example, I could put all my "Fallguys" rewards into a "Fallguys" folder. Then the entire folder could be turned on. When I play a different game, I could turn the folder off.
With the current system, we have to go through a huge list of rewards turning each individual reward on and off when switching games. The end result is that many streamers just have rewards that don't always make sense, depending on what they're doing that day.

Streamer.bot does it and I never replied to update. Only thing that twitch needs to do is increase the amount of points that can be set up and active at one time.

This has gotten so many votes and yet twitch still hasn't even took it into consideration. It's say that programs like Aitum have to exist to do this when it SHOULD be build into twitch..

Absolutely this!
For variety streamers it's so important.
(There is even an extension that already does this through chrome which I don't use chrome) so it's certainly possible! -

Seeing how Twitch will never add this; may I recommend Aitum

It would save so much time and be such a huge Quality of Life improvement if we could sort Channel point redemptions into categories and then activate or deactivate them all at once. For example I do an interactive XCOM stream on Fridays but there are about 15 things I have to turn on in my channel redemptions. It would be great if I could create an XCOM category in my redemptions then turn them all on or off at once

Having it so streamers can toggle on/off groups of redeems would be handy, but also having folders for viewers to go to specific things like sound alerts and find them faster to redeem. Instead of having to scroll through a bunch of redeems to find the one you want to use.

That's will be great, and not only for different games, but also for other features. Like sound rewards in one folder, change overlay color - in other folder etc. I hope one day Twitch will implement folders to channel points rewards and with ability to set cooldown for a folder, not only individual rewards

We struggle with the issue of changing our rewards on a weekly basis based on the game we are playing so we created a tool. We have made it publicly available as a chrome extension.

Folders - We need to be able to sort things into folders. Some of us want Sound Alerts on redeems but with varying prices for varying lengths/volumes/etc, it all gets very difficult to sort out very, very quickly. I know I, and a lot of others, would be happy to see this change. It'd also simply look a lot cleaner for very similar redeems to be grouped together.
Manual Sorting - Sometimes, we'll have new redeems that we want to push up. It seems like this is understood, since new redeems are pushed up for exactly one view, then pushed back down. We also need to be able to turn this off: variety streamers constantly have redeems pushed all over the place just for having game-specific redeems. With Manual Sorting, it'd also be nice to be able to emphasize certain rewards by making them wider.
Library - Variety streamers will often have different rewards for different days, being able to simply toggle them on a per-group basis rather than going through an extensive list would be preferable.

An option that enables your channel points to change depending on what category you're in.
In settings, you can assign the channel point to the category so it only shows when that category is selected. Additionally having an option for channel points to show no matter what category is selected.
Example, If you're playing Fortnite, you can have a channel point option to "drop your weapon", but if you switch over to Animal Crossing the channel point redemption can change to "change your outfit".

As part of this, it would be great to have the ability to have a global cooldown for a folder, so if one of the items in the folder gets redeemed then you couldn't redeem any of the others in the folder till the cooldown was done.

With twitch chat integration technology growing so rapidly I feel as though a folder/nesting feature to be able to categorize and disable/enable an entire grouping of channel point redemptions would be extremely useful, especially for variety streamers. Maybe even adding a functionality to enable/disable a folder / nest of channel point redemptions availability to the streamers community based on the game they are playing. Even just being able to categorize e.x. Sounds, game interactions, videos, etc as folders would be amazing. Please give this a thought I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to implement some sort of grouping system for channel point redemptions.

For the folks commenting on using StreamerBot, that doesn't change the visual presentation for the viewers, which is the most important thing. The benefit to folders is I can sort my different types of redeems into different folders for people to find, rather than have to look for them via their cost.
Sound Redeems / Vtuber Effects / Chatbot Commands, ect to make things easier for /them/ not us. We can deal, we're not the ones actually utilizing them.

Nobody talks about the log? I need to know if a mod has rejected or approved a bounty, but unfortunately I can't. I just wish I had somewhere to look up what was done with the bounty...

First of all I love channel points. But having separate categories would be a dream. I often forget to toggle them on/off when streaming a different game (and I do often in a week). So sometimes I just leave them out because it's really stressful to think about that every time. Which is sad because channel points are super cool.
You should not only make folders but also create an optional automatic function to tick, where if you go live and change a game, the channel points change as well (as suggested here). This way, our streams would become less stressful.

Hey friends, just a heads up. There is a way to do this now with streamer.bot you just have to recreate the channel points in streamer bot so it can have control over disabling and enabling them. You can group them and enable/disable entire groups of channel points. Only thing I have come across is having the limit of 50 created points. If I could create a thousand and only enable 50 that would be ideal.

The folders idea is an awesome bonus, but even at a basic level, I'd like to see individual toggles *outside* of Twitch. StreamDeck, LioranBoard, or any other API worthy system for exporting this arduous task.
I have 24 redemptions for a specific game night, and it's too funny flicking all those switches manually. XD

There are many streamers who use specific channel point redemptions with specific games. I think an amazing feature would be to have another customization option when making a new custom redemption such as; Only available when streaming xxxxxx category (leave blank for always available). Many streamers play with extensions such as crowd control or chaos creator for specific games, and having your channel point redemptions flooded with say Minecraft related redemptions could be a little messy when you're streaming something else.

I actually came here to request this same thing. The idea of a "loadout" as style system would help a LOT of streamers be able to make their channel point rewards more appropriate to what they're streaming. I've been in a lot of streams where they've had game specific rewards that didn't need to be there when they were doing a just chatting stream. As a streamer myself, I'd love to be able to turn on or off certain channel points options based on category or "loadouts". The fact that this idea was suggested 2 years ago and not implemented is kind of sad, since I've been in a lot of streams where they've talked about wishing they had an option like this.
