Unlock each emote as the level is beaten rather than the highest emote from the train.
Right now if you complete a level 100 Hype Train you will only get KappaInfinite instead of getting BleedPurpleHD, HeyHeyGuys, and PogChomp as well. This leads viewers to feel like they are ripped off because this generally isn't how game progression works.
When we beat a level we expect a reward from that level to be unlocked. We do not expect that reward to be overwritten by a higher level forcing us to have to do it again to unlock the lower tier reward. This is a normal tenet of game design and should apply to Hype Train rewards as well.

I was a part of PirateSoftware's 106 record hype train. It's frustrating to be a part of something so amazing and then to find out that you don't collect all the rewards. I did get the KappaInfinite emote, but was expecting to get all the other milestone emotes as well.
When you complete milestones in games, heck even when you are playing and buy a season pass, we expect to be rewarded with each milestone completed. I would personally be upset if I bought a pass, did something exceptional to pass a couple of levels of the pass, to end up getting the last milestone completed.
Please make it to where we get all milestone emotes.

I know emotes might be rolling out still. However, I agree that if a level is reached, you should be able to unlock that level's emote. I know some levels have a chance at between multiple emotes but as long as you get one for the appropriate levels reached/passed.
What doesn't make sense is that some users who participated in the Hype Train were able to unlock all 5 emotes (KappaInfinite, HeyHeyGuys, PogChomp, DidIBreakIt, BleedPurpleHD) while others haven't earned any or half of the emotes. I understand there may be bugs that caused others to get more emotes, but regardless you should be able to earn an emote when each milestone is hit.

I don’t feel motivated to join a hype train to unlock an emote I already have, I feel like just waiting for the next train, if you unlocked a bunch I would feel more motivated to join a hype train

I agree. I only got 2 and the bonus one and when I talked to twitch support they told me to wait 24-48 hours after the stream and still never got the other emotes

This feels like we viewers are supposed to cheer on each level to be able to get all the rewards, and not as normal when we are a part of the normal hype trains, if we have been part of the train we get all the rewards from it.
But for this level 100 (+) level train we had on PirateSoftware feels like you guys behind twitch have a special rule for how people are getting the rewards.
I know that we hit you guys hard with how much we shared both gifted subs and bits during that train, and that some of you guys behind have to go back and look in logs to check that said user be a part of it.
But when you guys also give out different answers to different users it feels like you don't have one guide line in to how you are handling this.
And also your support system for things like this feels confusing and annoying to find how to navigate to the correct part of your suggested lines to how we can contact you for things like this.

This should be the default because I was given PogChomp and KappaInfinite the day after the level 106 Hype Train happened which means I was given 2 emotes for the event instead of 1 which was stated in the Hype Train Guide help page, if we don't have the ability to unlock all of them it results in me realizing I have to contribute multiple hype trains just to unlock all of them. This current state would make me not contribute to future hype trains as it might not hit the level that would allow me to unlock the emote I'm missing.

I agree! If it didn't involve real money I wouldn't mind as much, but it does, and therefore I feel that the rewards should be cumulative. Otherwise I fear many will not want to participate in trying to reach higher levels in hypetrains because of the mentality of "what's the point"?

I agree, specially in terms of incentive. When a level 100 is reached, the community's goal should be to go higher, not unlocking the rewards before makes the viewer thinking of things they missed out.
Like a game, if you slay the dungeon's boss, and realize you missed rewards, you will go back to the dungeon's rooms, when in this case, the goal is to go what is beyond that boss!

I agree with this. When I participate in a Hype Train, I expect to receive the emote for the highest level achieved by that Hype Train and all the emotes of the lower levels.

I didn't participate in this hype train, nor do I expect nor want these specific rewards mentioned. However, I feel it's important that these people above and below me get what they spent their money on to achieve. They earned it and deserve what they expected to receive in the first place.

I have only been a part of two hype trains, and one of the reasons for my initial contribution was with the intent of unlocking a "lower tier" reward.
Finding out that the intent for the rewards is only "highest tier and no other", is definitely a point of pain, as the hype train I donated to ended up exceeding the point at which I donated, and I got a different emote compared to the one I had actually donated to attempt unlocking.
I am happy to have been a part of this new Hype Train WR, but the idea of having to then go attempt another tier 50, or even another tier 25 in order to get the other unique emotes feels a little bad, even daunting.

I completely agree with this idea and to further expand on this issue and idea. I believe that even if the tiers with multiple emotes only provided 1 emote from that level would be enough.

it feels bad it not unlock all of the earned rewards it makes the achievement feel incomplete and bitter. and makes me not want to engage in hypetrains because i feel that i will not get the earned rewards.

I've seen various people contacting twitch support about the emote rewards.
Sometimes they are told that you're only supposed to get KappaInfinite and DidIBreakIt,
Sometimes they are told they're supposed to get all 5,
and some people are being told that they're not eligible to get any reward because they didn't share their sub message in chat. The announcement post suggests you should get all 5,
The FAQ suggests you're supposed to only get 1,
The FAQ lists a different order of the rewards than the announcement post,Personally, i feel like this works this way simply because it was implemented as an extension to the lvl 1-5 rewards, but while that system makes sense for the lower-level hype trains where you want to reward having more hype trains, it feels very bad for a community to reach level 100, and then being told "yeah, you remember that old world record you've already beaten previously? go do that again to get the level 50 emote"
it's also very frustrating that even a full week later you've apparently not even managed to figure out what the intended solution is here,
and it feels rather unfair that some people are getting all 5 rewards, while others are told they don't deserve to get even one, seemingly without any rhyme or reason... -

This feels even worse for those who didnt get any emotes compared to some who received ALL emotes . Which is counter to what is explained in the current explanation that user would only receive "1" for the highest level completed.
This adds to the confusion and frustration

This change would be a net positive for all sides. The users would get all the rewards associated with all Hype Train level rewards that were hit, and Twitch would get people more engaged and willing to participate in more Hype Trains.

I feel that the levels are a bar for the community to hit and when we accomplish that we should be rewarded for reaching that bar/goal. To be apart of the first hype train to reach over level 100 I was really excited to be able to receive the emote rewards to show i was apart of this. Only receiving part of the emote rewards feels like being cheated of the accomplishment that all worked so hard to achieve.

I think that breaking a record is worth of a brand new personalized emote for all of those who help achieve this feat. Not to mention that the same people should get other emotes as Thor described (BleedPurpleHD, HeyHeyGuys).
You don't break a record every day pal, plus also means more buckaroos for twitch so, you guys gotta throw us a bone.
(even tho I was not present during this achievement) -

I fully understand that the old system with only 1 emote was in place for the first 5 train levels, since they were pretty easy to reach, especially with a big community.
So it was pretty much a multiple daily occurrence to get all the emotes.
With the special hype train emotes at level 10 and up the system doesn't make sense anymore since it's hard to impossible for most communities to reach that level of hype. Getting into a stream and reaching such a high level should give all the higher level emotes you reached.
I got the emote for level 50 and level 100 (plus the special emote for the first level 100 hype train DidIBreakIt) on that level 106 hype train, but not the emotes for 10 or 25 (I got the emote for 10 later through another train on the same channel).
I don't want to have to reach another level 25 hype train to get that last missing emote. It seems like a nearly impossible to reach goal. -

Not only does it feel bad to not get lower tier rewards because you achieved a higher level, the interface did not communicate this properly, and not having those emotes feels like getting scammed.
Only getting the highest tier emote but none of the lower tiers doesn't make sense.
