Allow PG "Dumpy" style emotes on Twitch.
A Dumpy emote is an emote with a shaking butt in a circle and does not contain nudity or sexually explicit content of any kind. There are over 900 of them on Twitch as of this writing.
Dumpy emotes are incredibly popular among a wide number of communities on Twitch. However, they have been removed by Twitch Moderation at seemingly random for violating the community guidelines.

As these emotes are based on a draw-over of the PG movie Open Season from 2006 it seems absurd to ban them from the platform.

Having all the openly sexual content - ASMR, bathtubs, bikini streamers - and Twitch is banning a PG emote? Please, guys, get your priorities straight. It is ridiculous to ban cartoon emotes.

The idea that "dumpy" emotes are sexual to anyone, strikes me as a completely alien concept. I have never considered this emote sexual in any form. It is just a fun emote.

There's no problem with the dumpy emotes. For all the reasons listed here before and after this post.
Twitch is not a business substitute for parents to dictate for young and older adults.(18+) This is an unethical practice that costs you more than you are gaining. There is a reason why there is an age verification on Twitch to filter suggestions to Twitch users. Relay on it and leave channels of appropriate age-rated channels alone as long its content is lawfully legal only. Not subjectively based on the opinion of an individual. -

I feel a cartoonish animated rump that is NOT anatomically correct and actually shows nothing special is less offensive than scantily clad women Streaming in different situations. Not necessarily offensive to me.

Emotes are a direct representation of the streamer's community and should be better aligned to the PG-13 ToS. Blocking harmless emote designs only creates a mistrust of the platform.

The emote is based on a PG-rated childrens film.
Banning it for "violating the community guidelines" is unreasonable. -

I believe that banning G, PG, or PG-13 emotes sends very mixed signals to this community. Considering your legislation is in the US and you have a regularory commission on the subject, by not complying to FCC you create a difficult task for creators to understand what is and isn't allowed. Perhaps you need to study a way in which your moderators can get acquainted with FCC's guidelines on defining each level of censorship, as every person in this platform must be over 13 years old and it makes no sense for this or any other content deemed harmless by the Commission to be banned.

This Just seems stupid to have a local ban on twitch when the original thing it are coming from are an PG (from 7 year old age rating) approved movie, and to even be able to sign up to Twitch you have to be 13 or older. Then why try and die on this hill Twitch?
If all the emotes are an pen over from that movie? Then why do Twitch wanna change an PG rating?

Why are we banning something that is PG ??

can't have an animated ferret moving their booty while twitch streamers in bikinis get to shake theirs all day

It's a butt, the vast majority of the human race has a butt. Butts are funny at their base value. As long there's no explicit nudity or sexualization it is well within a PG Rating. Give us Dumpy emotes

With everything else happening on the site, an animated emote that is a trace of a PG animated movie and is still in the confines of PG is not worth censoring.

It makes no sense to ban Dumpy emotes when they're based off something rated PG by the FCC, meaning it's not nudity, or sexual in any way. They're incredibly popular, bring communities together across Twitch like with other popular emotes that are common across the platform. The Ban on them simply brings animosity directed at Twitch when users percieve that there is "worse" content being allowed by the same TOS.

It feels like the removal of these emotes may be within the word of the community guidelines but it doesn't seem in the spirit of the rules to disallow these emotes given they are not explicit or sexual in nature and target more of a comedic vibe.

100% Agree. There is 0 reason this style emote is not allowed. Where it really gets crazy is some channels seem to be able to have it while others get denied instantly. It seems like even the moderation team is in disagreement. Rather than continuing the cycle of perceived double standards, just let the innocent cartoon meme from a PG animated movie free.

The Dumpy emotes, recognized as PG by the FCC, should be reconsidered by Twitch. It's essential to align with established content ratings and support the community's choice for playful, non-offensive expressions. Why override a widely accepted standard?

This is just a reskin of a children's movie. There is an entire department in the United States government that decided it was child friendly.

The FCC considers this content PG, so why does Twitch believe they are more qualified to assign it a stricter rating and prohibit it?

Allow dumpy emotes, it's fine for children's show and should be fine for Twitch.
