An error occurred while saving the comment DarkRaigeFire commentedIt makes no sense to ban Dumpy emotes when they're based off something rated PG by the FCC, meaning it's not nudity, or sexual in any way. They're incredibly popular, bring communities together across Twitch like with other popular emotes that are common across the platform. The Ban on them simply brings animosity directed at Twitch when users percieve that there is "worse" content being allowed by the same TOS.

Just wanted to update this thread that we are doing an experiment right now with Stream Display Ads! These are less disruptive ads that allow viewers to see and hear Creators while being displayed. Creators will receive ad revenue for each SDA shown. You can find out more information here: https://twitter.com/TwitchSupport/status/1603148201489580032

A majority of ads on web and TV apps should now have normalized sound. We are still continuing the work on this and will update the status again when it is fully complete!

Like Thor has already conveyed, to participate in a hype train (let alone a record breaking hypetrain that resulted in an entirely new emote because of it) and NOT get all the emotes for each level you've surpassed, feels bad. It feels like a rip off, especially if the goal is to incentivise hype trains and reaching for new goals for the chat and creators, especially for the majority of communities on twitch which are much smaller, and thus requires more effort and expense on the part of them to get these hype trains to each of these goals.
This leaves chatters feeling cheated if they go above a level for an emote they may want, and streamers in a bad position when it seems like they are now incentivised to get multiple different hype trains that reach each of these levels, it makes it feel like a cash grab, and leaves communities feeling like this thing that should be a great achievement is now cheapened and penalizing.
Communities and people should never be penalized for going above and beyond in their support, nor should they be made to feel like the system is set up to scam them or squeeze them for more money just to get emotes you technically already earned.
