How it works:
  • Choose a relevant category for your idea and check to see if any other users have already submitted this suggestion before creating your own
  • Be clear with your suggestion, provide examples and solutions to the problem you are posing. Suggestions without actionable feedback may be closed without comment
  • Upvote existing ideas, as opposed to creating multiple similar requests
  • Be sure to share your suggestion with others to gain more support!
  • Note: Suggestions are not guarantees that we will take action on an idea. We will try our best to communicate why an idea may not work, but may not always be able to share that information.
  • Titles that are unclear or unnecessarily vulgar may be reworded to better reflect the request for ease of discovery

  1. While I understand that currently the CDC is not requiring masks at events, I feel the staff of Twitch and the goers of Twitch Con NA have a duty to ensure con-goers are safe.

As it stands on the CDC COVID tracker website (https://covid.cdc.gov/covid-data-tracker/#datatracker-home) you can see the fluctuations of the virus and the numbers are on an upward incline already and those numbers are only until January 6th.

From what the US itself is experiencing, much less the entire world taking into account international travelers who would be coming, a mask mandate for the convention should be…

  2. Considering the conversations happening both in-person among attendees and online, it's safe to say a large group of attendees consider that Las Vegas wasn't a great fit as a TwitchCon host city.

TwitchCon is about community and coming together. Except in Las Vegas, due to traffic, large distances and road closures, as well as casinos, shows and other entertainment options, going to the expo floor was more of a hassle and afterthought than the main event.

By moving TwitchCon to a more walkable city, like San Diego [the previous-host city], people spend less time, energy as well as money in…

  3. A panel of hosts discussing being a disabled streamer on twitch with topics such as inspiration stories, challenges and how twitch has helped their lives. I myself have Cystic Fibrosis and would love to host it!

  4. With all the recent shooting incidents in the US, please consider improving the security and safety around long lines that form near entrances/exits where people are most vulnerable. I think one way we can improve the safety of everyone is to use some sort of marker in lines (similar to the markers used in lines during Covid) that create spacing between people. It will help prevent crowding and pileups in the event that people need to disperse quickly. I also suggest placing security and law enforcement personnel near lines to monitor for suspicious activity. Thank you.

  6. There is a severe lack of large gaming conventions here, and i think it would help both the CA Twitch community, as well as the gaming community in general.

  8. Bring TwitchCon EU to the UK?

An event within the UK would be pretty awesome, there is the EXCEL Centre in London or Birmingham has the National Exhibition Centre(NEC) which are potential venues, both have great international links with airports being onsite in the case of the NEC or within 15 minutes in the case of the EXCEL.

  9. I have found no solid way to contact any person relating to TwitchCon. On their own webpage, they encourage to message on their Twitter page, which results in no answers returned. None. I was advised to contact Twitch devs, Twitch Support, and many more departments with no success in resolving this issue.

I was bombarded with dropdown menus with topics that do NOT relate to anything I need assistance with, and when I find myself finally talking with a real human being, they constantly tell me it is the wrong department (probably because none of their selections fit what I…

  10. A separate wristband you can choose to wear or a color tab added to the event wristband to show personal levels of comfort. Green means you can approach, shake hands, etc. Red means not comfortable with any kind of physical touch or close contact.

  12. With TwitchCon there comes a lot of disabled folks needing a point of contact to ask accessibility questions or get more info on whether or not aspects of the con are safe for mobility or other types of disabilities.

My request is to have an accessibility booth right up front when you enter the con that has a designated team or point of contact there to answer specific accessibility questions.

This comes after attending every TwitchCon NA since 2017 and always having to constantly struggle to find a staff that’s willing to answer my accessibility questions or even try to…

  13. The last twitch con I was at (2019), TwitchCon had a stage for music performances outside but it was not organized or advertised as well.

The music category has grown tremendously, so it would be amazing if there was a more organized time for the music community to be able to show off their talent or get to meet up together. Although there was Twitch Sings, they are a completely different community.

  15. I think it would be a great idea to provide all attendees with a "NightCap" drink cover scrunchie in their TwitchCon grab bag! Its an accessory but also provides people with a safe way to protect their drinks when out at public venues.

Keep everyone safe. One drink at a time.

  16. At TC you have your premium perks for Affiliates and Partners. People who gift subs are supporting not only their favorite streamer, but Twitch as well.

I don't know the metrics on gift subs, so I couldn't say if a perk should start at 100 gifts, 500 gifts, 1000 gifts or if it should be tiered, but it would be nice to do something for sub gifters.

  17. After personally attending Twitchcon 2019, I was blown away with how loving, accepting, and enjoyable the event felt. I also became aware of an opportunity rising to the surface. I heard many attendees stating their need to find a quiet place to "regroup" and relax in such a stimulating environment. I am excited to share my ideas regarding what this space could consist of and how it could best serve people.
    TwitchCon 2020 Quiet Space

Two potential names for the space:
    Zen Den
    If Assonance is prefered
    Zen Zone
    If Alliteration is prefered

A Quiet place for people to…

  18. A sound bath session where the attendees are in the their PJs with a yoga mat and blanket (maybe twitch branded versions) where they lay on their back with the lights really low and RubyTrue provides a relaxing end to the night with singing bowls, chimes, and various musical instruments.

  19. It would be amazing if we tried out Chicago for TwitchCon! It's a really fun city and so close to the middle that WAY more creators AND viewers would be able and WILLING to attend! It's far more affordable than California & I really believe Twitch users on the East Coast & even the South would appreciate it!

I just think it would really be in Twitch's best interest to at least try it out once! I'm sure they'd be super surprised at the turnout and excitement!

  20. Give your Artists and Makers & Crafters an opportunity to set up a booth at TwitchCon to sell their merch and meet their communities! Logistically, it would have to be open to those who are legit business owners and have insurance to cover events, but many of us earn our living like this and are used to these rules. Show your artistic communities that you see them and hear them and support them!
