The Clancy award for DJ remixing To celebrate Twitch DJ's able to make 30 second clips have a DJ competition. Winner gets into the carousel on New Years Eve. Participants get a chance at a "Golden Clancy train" (D.J. Clancy's emote in gold) to help promote the event. Maybe do interview/spotlights with contestants played on a 24/7 loop on a channel devoted to then being the event channel a winner is crowned.
The goal to push the clips out to folks who may not have thought of Twitch as a place to find great DJ's. It would publicize the DJ's, Twitch and the 30 second clips.

Silly holiday hats for streamers awarded by their community Twitch branded merch a community can reward their streamer with. A St. Patrick's hat (for example) with 2027. It can only be purchased by viewers cheering bits to a streamer.
So a community could show their love for their favorite streamer by getting them a silly hat. Streamer would be good natured bullied by their chat into wearing the hat for the stream on the holiday

Keep Twitchcon EU in Rotterdam I think the location in Rotterdam is very good. The Netherlands is a central point for the EU and is very accessible by public transport. AHOY is a great venue as well, with the large mall across the street where people can get other necessities. People have become familiar with the area over the years of coming to Twitchcon, and there is plenty to do in Rotterdam so people have a lot of options for activities

Local Partner Events for Community Feedback and Engagement Events like TwitchCon are certainly engaging and valuable, but they can also be expensive and not easily accessible for many users, including streamers and Partners.

TwitchCon EU Should Be 3 Days instead of 2! Never understood why TwitchCon EU is 2 days instead of 3, I've been to both TCs and I think there's just not enough time to fit everything into 2 days. Everything feels so cramped together and kinda rushed. You could have so many more events, great moments, panels, and so much more with an extra day! It feels kinda sad because there are so many great EU creators that should be appreciated and cant afford to go to America just for that extra day of fun!

Enforce Additional "Press Clearance" in order to live stream at twitchcon There were a lot of nuisance streamers pestering people at twitchcon this year (2025). There were several areas designated as "No streaming", but it wasn't enough(especially since people were streaming in those areas anyway).
I understand you wish to give people the freedom to stream the excitement, but applying extra clearance of giving a more rigorous check to people who want to stream at the event could help quell the numbers of people intending to harass and cause discomfort to the rest of the con-goers. Stop Security from Forcing attendees to remove their masks Each time entering the convention hall, there were always a line of aggressive and rude security guards yelling at people to take their covid protection masks off. Sometimes they asked 3+ times in ONE sitting to keep removing your mask and showing your face, because 2-3 guards had to see your face when entering. Depending on the guard, just pulling it down under your jaw and down to your neck wasn't enough, they wanted it fully off, which for those in cosplays with wigs and ears, pulling the full head banded mask meant undoing all of that and the inconvenience…

Suggestion for reducing suspicious TwitchCon attendees Part of the background check to enter TwitchCon needs to include platform ban history. There were 29 people that attended San Diego 2025 with 5 or more bans on file and 12 that had at least 2 the same year. Most users and streamers never get more than one ban, so barring those with 2 bans that year or 5 total on file should significantly reduce the chances of harassment or tainted gifts. Provide real security After hearing about the emiru situation, I believe Twitchcon should have real security there to protect the content creators. Currently it's up to the creators themselves to bring their own security, and the personnel get banned after protecting the streamers who hired them. It's astounding that Twitch doesn't care about the safety of their creators who they invite.

Host merch shops and limited printing services for individual channels It likely wouldnt be particularly lucrative for smaller streamers.. but let them try! Keep the profit margin, fees, data and browsing inside twitch. I know it would be a vERY big lift, but i think it'd be worth exploring. Especially since things like redbubble, printful, stickermule exist!

Move Kappa Cabana inside, to Park Pavilion!! Music is one of the most tightly-knit category communities on Twitch, and our content all but DEMANDS collaboration and mingling- why is it still relegated to the outside- with no shade, on a rickety little stage next to the food court?
Put us inside where the audience won't need to choose between safety from the sun, or supporting their faves during their (probably once ever) kappa concert slot!! Let us try and reach passers-by who arent miserable, sunburnt and only half able to see or hear. Put us in the park.6 votes
