With TwitchCon there comes a lot of disabled folks needing a point of contact to ask accessibility questions or get more info on whether or not aspects of the con are safe for mobility or other types of disabilities.

My request is to have an accessibility booth right up front when you enter the con that has a designated team or point of contact there to answer specific accessibility questions.

This comes after attending every TwitchCon NA since 2017 and always having to constantly struggle to find a staff that’s willing to answer my accessibility questions or even try to help.

This booth will be equipped with info about locations of elevators, whether or not an arena or event is safe for epilepsy, where an accessible restroom is, where the AFK room is and SO much more.

Could even be a great way to consult with disabled attendees to get better feedback to improve accessibility ongoing.
