Better Audio Source Detection on Focus Loss Better Audio Source Detection on Application/Game Focus Lost:
An improvement to the Audio Source Detection would be most beneficial for games and applications that have a Pause on Focus Lost function that is not easy to disable. Essentially instead of only listing active/playing audio sources, it would list an audio source that is active but paused.
For instance: Mafia Definitive Edition when completely Focused on is listed as an active source, but when tabbed out it is paused and is no longer registered as an active source.

Capture audio for non-game apps What I wanted to do was stream my music-making software, but the Twitch Studio both mutes the audio on it, and doesn't have the option to record said audio through a separate audio layer.
Thus, I suggest adding audio layers to appropriate non-game applications, such as Ableton Live 10 and video editing software like AVS Video Editor.

Manual individual audio input. Why can't I simply add and delete audio sources? It's a pain to try and mute my stream on the brb scene and starting soon. Have to unplug my mic or mute my whole stream, it'd be easier just to switch scenes and have the audio already set to my needs. What do you think?

ayuda cuando enciendo los cascos de la play el audio del juego ya no sale en la transmision Estoy jugando con la play4 pro cuando conecto los cascos platinun se desconecta el audio de juego en el twich studio... y no se escucha el audio del juego en la retransmisión el del micrófono si se escucha. Voice Filter Yesterday I noticed that there is a new trend among "content sharers" or rather "content crashers" to block a channel. They find it extremely funny to curse you into the stream so that your stream violates the Twitch guidelines and you will subsequently receive a ban or even deletion of your account.
To detect a violation of this nature, Twitch uses an algorithm that can detect expletives.

Add a master volume to dial in output-volume that goes into stream So far, one can only dial in the individual input source-volumes. Although having dialed in the mic-input that it never exceeds the "good" area and balanced the rest of the audio to it, the overall audio which goes into stream is very low in comparion. so it would be nice to have a master output that can be seperately set.

Dynamic Audio Track for Game Capture I'd love to see an audio track in Advanced Audio Mixer where the source is whatever application you have selected as the Game Capture. This audio source would sync up every time you update your Game Capture, as well.

Increase audio notch to allow a greater ability to select sound volume The current audio only allows for 20 notches on the scale. This is as I have found out to be inadiquate at the lower ends of the scale. 50 or 60 would be the better option, the upper notches are not the problem, just the lower ones as the minimum sound is too loud for chatting and music at the same time.

Built in music player A lot of streamers don't know how to put music in their stream.
In some streams there is music but you (the viewer) sometimes wanna turn it off but you can't since it's a part of the stream audio.
So what if there'll be an option in Twitch to choose music to your stream? That way everyone will be able to use music in their stream and the viewers will be able to mute it if they want and still hear the stream itself, and also see the name of the song if it's not shown in the stream.9 votes -

Would it be hard to change how loud someone is on stream without interfering with game audio? I thought of the idea during my first stream. Someone had clipped something and I could barely hear myself. I would like to be louder without yelling, the game audio was completely fine for me.
