Power-ups Need to be included in the bits api
Power-ups should have had this from day and it is remiss of Twitch not to have done this from the day it was implimented. POwer-ups need to be included in the Bits API. Without it games that include bit redemptions, counters and other viewer incentives no longer work properly, and viewers are confused why they do not.
Needs to be fixed or removed asap.

I felt bad when someone tested out the big size emote and none of my alerts happened for the bits. It was pretty boring for the default amount I didn't get to change yet when I've had better alerts happen for similar amount of bits.

Have to agree on this one here. I understand this feature isn't going to be removed but it feels a bit of a mishap to have launched without this available in the API.
Anything with a monetary value associated to it needs to have API integration at launch (or at least most if not all things do).
Three things really underthought or overstepped on here: 1) Missing the API integration on launch and 2) launching a feature that basically requires the use a twitch only overlay (emote rain) and 3) launching with zero streamer control (opt in/out ability).
I really believe you (twitch) are trying to build good things for your users but I feel like forced use is the worst direction to go when it comes to things like this.
Those two things are kind of putting your streamers in a tough spot that they should have a bit more control over (
