Add a feature to turn off the power-up feature
What if a streamer doesn't want the power-ups to clutter up their channel points?

I'll back this one. I have plenty of viewers who don't enjoy sudden emote storms etc. Let us turn this off.

Please let us toggle this off. This is not a good feature in my opinion, and is intrusive to people who want to watch without annoying stuff covering the screen.
Also, I worry that people will think these are used with Channel Points and not bits, and may end up wasting their money. This is not cool, in my personal opinion.

Can we set these up so we can turn them on/off individually?

There are just some features that don't work for certain streams, and anything that involves validation (basically any challenge run, not just speedruns) needs to have visual clarity for verification purposes. Other tools at least allow setups that do not obscure the screen like this does. And that's not even getting into the fact that streamers might not want certain emotes in their stream in any way, shape or form.
As an absolute minimum (and I truly mean minimum), this feature should be something a streamer can deactivate. As it is now, it's a time bomb only diffusable for its maximum allowable cooldown for way too many streams, not a fun feature or good way to bring in revenue.

Until you give us the option to turn this off, i have set it as high as it can go. While this is a fun idea, it destroys your bitrate!

I agree with @ZombeeAttack. I run a PG community, and we don't want any unclean emotes showing on our chat. We already remove messages if regular emotes are used, but this being bits, there should be a 'max rating' type thing for emotes, or a way to limit to our channel and global emotes only.

Since it's any emotes, this could mean someone could use inappropriate images to cause harm to a community. Give me the ability to turn each power up on or off to best suit the level of safety a streamer needs for their stream and community.

I appreciate wanting to see this on everyone's channels and available for monetized channels but the dangers FAR outweigh the fun. The reception for this woulda been so much better would you have given the option to turn this off. We need the choice.

Agreed. I don't want to have it at all, and I'm worried that viewers might think they're using channel points but use bits by accident. Let channels turn this off or at least make it separate from the channel points interface. As a viewer I'd like to be able to hide this from the channel point interface as well.

Give the viewers at least an option to disable seeing this nonsense

While I sincerely appreciate Twitch attempting to add a new way for viewers to support their favorite streamer and contribute to the stream, this feature is simply not for everyone and therefore would greatly benefit with the ability to enable or disable the different rewards.
Large emotes can be disruptive for Just Chatting streamers trying to read and interact with their chat, and the Celebration can be distracting towards whatever is actually happening on the stream. Highlighting a message is already a free feature with channel points, and combining a free feature and a paid one (with the paid one forced to the top) is simply a bad idea as it could cause confusion for newer viewers and cause them to otherwise spend money that they didn't need to.
I therefore respectfully ask that you give both the viewer and the streamer the ability to enable or disable Power-Ups, as well as to once again separate paid content (bits) and non-paid content (channel points) into two different sections like they were before.

The issue for me with these Power-Ups is that we already have these functions for free. Spend channel points to highlight your message for the streamer to read it. BTTV can make emoticons bigger, although not sure that works with Twitch emoticons so that is the only reall plus side with this. And the one screen celebration is just an emoticon wall for 1 emoticon that scales in size depending on the channel, making larger streams unwatchable.
These are also put above all our other channel point redeems basically shoving them in the viewers face to spend money which is also gross.
Having to max them out to 10,000 to have people not do them is also a bad look tot he average Twitch viewer since it makes the streamer look greedy and can turn people away from a stream.
I appreciate Twitch trying to give us streamers more ways to monitize and earn money but this is just not it in my opinion, and should never be forced onto every streamer to use.
Please give us the ability to disable these from being used or showing up in our channel points (If they are disabled the text "Power-Ups" is also not showing up anymore in the channel points)

It's a fine idea, but like most things streamers use, should have a toggle/be optional.

I actually like the feature overall, although I understand the desire for wanting to shut it off entirely
I think better than just a "main" on-off switch would be on-off toggles for EACH individual Power-Up effect, so if, for example, someone likes the giant stickers, but don't want to use the other 2 effects, they can pick and choose (including choosing none of them)

I am on the side of "give us the OPTION to turn this off please". but also to both the streamer & viewers. Maybe the streamer doesn't want an offensive viewer to abuse this feature with hateful messages/emotes. Or the streamer might like it, but a viewer has issue with photosensitivity or visual stimuli that otherwise bothers them, for example.
