Late September 2024, and it's still not showing on Android. This is a HUGE chunk of viewers that can't see /announce (among others like /shoutout, /pin, etc).
Twitch team: Get your developers working, and fix this. I use two android devices and I can't see any of that stuff on either my Pixel 8 Pro, nor my Samsung Tab S7.

Why isn't this in (for android at least)? Been over 2 years with this thread and Twitch staff, as usual, completely ignore important things.

Yea .. they need to get off their ... and fix this. Works on iOS (apparently), but not Android. I've never owned an iOS device, and never will. I prefer the customizability of Android.

I agree with @ZombeeAttack. I run a PG community, and we don't want any unclean emotes showing on our chat. We already remove messages if regular emotes are used, but this being bits, there should be a 'max rating' type thing for emotes, or a way to limit to our channel and global emotes only.

Yes please. Allow us Affiliates to make ONE team. I'd love to have one focused on PG/PG13 Dinosaur game streamers primarily. I understand why Partners can have two, but let affiliates have ONE team creation ever. Get the second once you reach Partner or something.

Even just one single lifetime account, for their main bot account to be able to use and promote emotes, would be plenty enough for me.

If you're referring to channel trailers and other stuff autoplaying, then resuming autoplay even if you hit pause... I agree. Super annoying and aggravating. Making me reconsider using Twitch again.

Hey guys! We really appreciate the feedback that has been brought forth in this thread and just wanted to update you a little bit on what is going on.
This change was originally made to guard against raid bot attacks. While smaller raids are currently viewable in activity feed in the dashboard, we are working on a solution that treats raids equally while guarding against abuse tactics.

Is this still a thing? If it is, very bad move on your part. If you need to increase it past 1, make it 3, the affiliate average requirement. 5+ can be difficult for some people who just do it as a hobby once in a while.

This would be nice. A Global and game-specific category, I'd love to have that. As well as a "Stream Avatars" category.

I would LOVE this, especially for "Stream Avatars" unlocking various avatars so they don't fill up the main section!
