Stop Mid-Roll Ads Testing. Here's an Alternative. Interrupting streamers' streams with an ad randomly without any semblance of their own control is going to ruin a LOT of clippable moments in streams, as well as push viewers away from many smaller streamers, which could seriously damage their livelihoods.
Instead of this forceful approach to increasing the amount of ads, you can reward streamers who frequently and consistently play ads with more emote slots that will only stay if said streamer keeps their ad playing frequent and consistent.

Leaving Twitch due to interrupting Critical Role Cast You need to understand that people don't watch twitch to watch ads. you interrupted my show 3 times to tell me I had an ad blocker on. No kidding. I put it there. But, good news. I noticed that YouTube now carries the Live stream of critical role. So, I don't need twitch anymore. Oh also D&D Beyond also allows other sign in methods, So bye. Don't interrupt any other shows, you may lose additional watchers.

You're shooting yourself in the foot with your approach to ads I know y'all prefer to listen to your good old friend Benjamin Franklin over the actual community themselves, as is the case with all corporations anyways, but these mid-roll ads that can't be skipped and occur way too often are a complete disaster that only serve to damage the site itself, and any financial benefits that can be gained from it for the company and Bezos himself will start to slowly dwindle while more and more people abandon the site entirely.
They hurt the ability of smaller streamers to use the site as a source of income, as potential viewers…

Political Ads Not sure why your company has decided to involve political ads into recreational video game content, but you’ve just lost a viewer. Plenty of other methods to watch a favorite streamer without having some over-privileged company preach politics. RIP Twitch, RIP.

Werbung wird weit über Belastungsgrenzen wiederholt Hallo, ich frage mich, ob Twitch es für eine gute Idee hält, einen 20 mal am Tag mit derselben Werbung zu nerven, und das über Wochen oder sogar Monate (bei mir aus irgendeinem Grund immer eine Werbung von Nahrungsergänzungsmitteln).
Vielleicht sollten Twitch und die Werbenden selbst sich fragen, ob es überhaupt in ihrem Interesse ist, Zuschauer derart zu nerven und letztlich einfach anzuwidern. (Natürlich über beliebig viele Streamer verteilt.)
Falls es irgendeinen Grund gibt, weshalb die Werbung so unglaublich eingeschränkt ist (anders als dass nur ein paar wenige Werbung betreiben, was manchmal auch im TV dieser Tage so scheint), wäre…2 votesPlease report the ad. When you click on video player's settings, there should be an option called playback issue. From there, you can select "Advertisement has played too many times." Thank you.

Dont give ads to subscribers.. . cant find that issue button so its here. thanks I'm subscribed to Nyxia, streaming Escape from Tarkov... but getting ads still... shouldnt I not be getting ads? And why do they automatically assume gamers are nerds. These ads are so patronizing and annoying... Stop portraying men as sissy morons. thank you!

Give Perspective - This Post Could Help So... I just wrote a post regarding Twitch Ads. It's not exclusively pro-twitch or pro-ad, but I think it provides important context regarding ads that viewers should understand (and some tips for streamers and Twitch as well). Understanding what I've put in this post should reduce the rage and hate about advertisements in general. However, relative to the scope of Twitch viewership, my reach is low. Find a way to get this message out there and some of the ad hate should drop off.

Alert: Dangerous Ad - Need Ad Reporting Feature I saw a Suicide Prevention advertisement on August 23rd, 2023.
This advertisement is triggering and dangerous to those sensitive to suicide. As a survivor and the family member of those who have died by suicide, this advertisement as it is formatted (one friend gets a gun and locks himself in the room, the other friend pleading with him not to do it. It ends on the assumption that the person is dying) will send more people into suicidal psychiatric crisis than it will help.
Please have this advertisement removed immediately and have sensitivity reviews of future content like this.

- Click on the settings cog in the bottom right of the video player
- Select Report Playback Issue
- You will see the option "Advertisement is offensive or inappropriate."

ads You need to stop spamming ads all the time. Im prime user, i pay for the users i want to help with subsciption.
i have like 8/10 ads every 30 minutes of ANY STREAM. You need to stop that, i give u a month, or i leave the platform.
You decide twitch, stop being invasive or i go back to another platforms, you already make a lot of money.
